I'm delighted with Lip Sync Battle's ratings, and CBB is doing well. With the C5 rebrand finally nearing and The X Files in February, they seem to be off to a good start this year.”
I have to say, it is good to see some positivity around C5. LSB isn't my kind of thing, but I can see it's a popular format that seems to have been translated well for a British audience. Always nice to see a channel finally find a hit in a genre they have (BB aside) struggled with. It can only bode well for further investment.

6.2m for Casualty. If it only ran from January to April , as once was the case, it would be regarded as a hit still. In fact it would probably get substantially more than 6.2m too if not on all year round....”
Silent Witness is very much at the peak of its powers. Just see the
ratings by series. The earliest available numbers for Series 4 put it at just over 9m. It had sunk to the 6m region by the mid-late 2000s, but has risen again since with a move to the January slot. Quite remarkable.
