Impressive rating for Tattoo Fixers. It's just taken off from nowhere really that one.

Gotham, Secret Life of the Family, 10,000 BC and Lip Sync Battle UK will presumably stay in their 10pm slots.”

I should have some news on that on Friday when they send out the press pack for that week.

Thanks to Andy and jlp for explaining about the NTA website.

Hopefully, we'll get our ratings reports back soon. Wouldn't surprise me if it's something to do with money. Money is usually what's behind loss of ratings data.

Wow, over 1m for Tattoo Fixers is fantastic!

Some more ratings from Mediatel. (exc.+1)
Emmerdale 6m (29%)
Trawlerman Tales 2.4m
Ex on the Beach: 144k
Manchester’s Serial Killer 11pm: 621k (8%)

Totally agree, Its sad what a poor state DS as become. No regard for their users.

Nobody wants real news on the web anymore. They want 'OMG the 10 biggest TV fails ever' type stuff instead. Click bait. A factual report about a load of run of the mill programmes doesn't cut it.

I remember I used to photocopy the ratings pages out of Broadcast in the uni library years ago. I'm not buying the actual magazine, it's about £1m an issue for a 10 page pamphlet these days!

There needs to be a replacement website including forums.

If there's any justice in tonights NTA, Corrie will win nothing. Only Alison King is deserving of her award, but the storyines and writing - not in a million years.

The results of the NTA's are always mind boggling. The amount of pleading and begging I have seen from programmes and personalities on Twitter and Facebook just makes the whole event a joke.

The results are often at odds with the rules used in this thread.

Generally the higher rating programme is declared here as the best, but in the NTAs a low rating show can beat a high rating one, which goes against the opinions here.

Regarding Corrie, it's not the British Soap Awards, they aren't eligible for most of them.

Lord Sugar is already moaning that the reason The Apprentice doesn't win is because it isn't on ITV. Ironic when the winner of his category is the Bake Off, also not on ITV!

Considering why he was sacked no.

Is that why Bake Off, Downton Abbey and I'm A Celebrity won the first three awards?

Good to see such low rating and tragically overlooked programmes getting the recognition they deserve.

Completely agree with all this. I've tried to get in touch with DS about this too but no reply. We know the mods come on these threads so they must be reading this. It seems quite rude ignoring this which is clearly a big change to the website if they've scrapped the ratings completely. I hope they do return though. The numbers and articles have always been very insightful even though things have slipped recently. The soap ratings articles were very comprehensive and if these are gone now then it's gonna be missed greatly (in particular by myself).

8:00pm Call The Midwife
9:00pm Doctor Foster

Just a thought. Maybe January would be too early for it to air, I'm not sure.

He treats the show as the joke it is. Trevor McDonald presenting would be at odds with what it is these days.

Loose Women and This Morning have been the worst at this.

A couple of days ago when he was campaigning for votes.

The awards seemed a bit flat this year, almost as if they were going through the motions, I expect ratings may be down.

They were a bit flat wern't they, but I suspect its because every award is predictable now. But then, these are the big shows winning and that is why the NTA gets the biggest audiences of the awards shows.

When an award show rewards the smaller programmes, it doesn't interest the viewwers as much.

It wasn't a great show tbh, but then It'll still do fine as the always do- I did laugh at Dermot sticking a thinly vailed boot in to Xf at the end though when Interviewing Tess

I predict 5.9m for NTAs

Which makes me wonder, predictions for 10000 BC? I reckon 1.1m.
