Here's all of the NTA winners if anyone is interested.

Comedy - Peter Kay’s Car Share
Drama – Downton Abbey
New Drama – Doctor Foster
Entertainment Programme – I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!
Talent Show – Strictly Come Dancing
Daytime – The Chase
Challenge Show - The Great British Bake Off
Live Magazine Show - This Morning
Serial Drama - EastEnders
Serial Drama Performance – Danny Dyer
Factual Entertainment - Gogglebox
Newcomer – Shayne Ward
TV Presenter – Ant & Dec
Drama Performance – Suranne Jones
International - The Big Bang Theory
Special Recognition – Billy Connolly
TV Moment of the Year – Aidan Turner in Poldark

And I know some people like to do this:
BBC - 8 wins
ITV - 6 wins
C4 - 1 win

I honestly think I could have predicted every single one of those beforehand.

Well, except maybe International. I would have expected that to go to Game of Thrones.

Funnily enough it looks like MediaGuardian did get them all right except for the very one that tripped me up.

What's your prediction for CBB?

Thanks for these.

Doctor Foster/Suranne Jones richly deserved their recognition. Not usually one for that kind of drama but I thought it was compelling from start to finish. Personally I thought it should have remained a glorious one series wonder-seems a shame to take a chance on furthering the story imo.

Glad that SCD and EE both won, BGT probably suffers from being a too distant a memory when the voting starts-but Strictly is a fabulously warm show and thoroughly deserves its win imo. The BBC has had a good night.

Not much can be said about Ant and Dec winning again, I can remember Terry Wogan winning a TV Times award year after year back in the day but A and D are simply phenomenal. I suppose in one way it does highlight the almost total lack of competition in their field. No one does what they do.

Well I think the 8 BBC awards V 6 for ITV confirm its not rigged to get ITV shows to win. That would completely affect the impact of the NTA's.

Especially when the BBC use the excuse when axing dramas, that they are 'making way for new ones'.

If they are making way for new ones, why has one-off series Doctor Foster got a renewal? Ratings!

I'm still irritated that the axed Our Zoo.

Damaged a lot from NTAs. Historically it's hit quite a lot. 1.9m including +1 with 350k coming from +1 so 1.55m excluding.

Thank you to everyone who posts ratings here. It's a shame buzzfeed 2.0, erm I mean Digital Spy have given up.

UPDATE:
The soaps editor got back to me!
At the moment DS cannot provide data roundups (suggesting their access to ratings has run out, as we predicted).
He's unable to say right now if this is permanent or temporary as this is still being decided.

Not great news, but at least he took the time to reply. A case of don't shoot the messenger here, as I'm sure Daniel K is a ratings nut like we all are.

He added he should know more in a few days. So let's hope there's a positive resolution.

Why are ratings access denied to news sites? What on earth is wrong with reporting ratings? I don't get the issue, what's the point of collating them if no one can actually see them?

I don't get it.

Exactly. It's not as if it would cause a situation of great national security breach!

They aren't denied access. The ratings are compiled for and paid for by the broadcasters.

They are also available for a fee (which varies according to what you want to do with them). I imagine Digital Spy have not renewed their subscription.

But why block access from users on here?

Thanks for letting us know this

The ratings are now about the only reason I regularly visit DS these days.
The forums are not what they once were and the "news" pages are just an endless plethora of "twitter" reactions to x,y & z.
The spoilers are all over the place - and the lack of being able to comment directly on any of the articles (in an effort to enforce people onto the forums) has also been a detrimental move (imo).

If DS decides to no longer provide ratings data, I'll have less reason than ever to keep using this site.

Thanks to all those who still provide them

Our Zoo would almost certainly have fared loads better in the slot is so obviously intended for, Sundays at 8pm. It just didn't work midweek post-watershed. But certainly a waste of a good idea.

#NationalTelevisionAwards show on ITV was a winner in its slot from 7.30-10pm with avge 5.5m/25.5% (Total) http://www.overnights.tv

Decent rating for it, down almost a million on last year.

Can't believe Peter Kay and BBC1 are passing off a six part compilation of Kay's oft repeated work as a programme highlight.

Will C4 be happy about basically all his telly work bar Car Share being reaired on BBC1? I guess it will be Friday 9.30pm filler paired with HIGNFY.

Can't he come up with new material (even Car Share fundamentally isn't his work)?

There's an idea. But how would it work? How would we open a collective account and who would be willing to be responsible for obtaining the information and sharing it? At the end of the day could it affect future subscriptions as people may just end up getting the info from here, a public forum, rather than subscribe themselves. I have no objections in making a contribution if it was possible, I just worry about the complications and/or endless red tape. Also, I know we're a nice bunch of people, but let's be honest we don't know each other personally so how do you know I won't run off with all your money once people start paying their contribution?
