![]() ITV are certainly going to need to revamp the show if it stands a chance of working for them. It's essentially doing the same numbers for these audition shows as X Factor was doing for its live shows. So it could get really ugly for the later rounds with Takeaway on ITV. Cowell will be delighted (judging by his comments the other day he already is). |

It still topped the night by the looks of it
![]() Bbc1 delivers 3 most popular shows Saturday, 6.6m for #TheVoiceUK (up 200k), 5.1m for veteran drama #Casualty & 5m for #PointlessCelebrities |

Based on how much they've added with HD and +1 in previous week's compared to the exc HD numbers, the 'full fat' numbers for ITV should be around 4.3-4.5m for Ninja Warrior, 3.3-3.5m for Take Me Out and 2.2-2.3m for Ross.

Has The Getaway Car driven off into the sunset in ratings terms? Not surprised if so.

High 3's would be my guess. |

CBB figure looks good considering it was a Saturday and basically just a repeat of Friday night.

Football League Tonight improved quite a bit on previous weeks.
More data needed but maybe the changes have gone down well with viewers. |

Football League show - is that its best figure?
The Voice seems to be quite low. Didn't it used to post upwards of 8 million for auditions? |

ITV2's Beowulf repeat was down to just 90k (0.4%).

They only repeated about 3 minutes worth last night. Very eventful episode.
All I remember is the same stuff I'd seen on Friday, plus the housemates kicking off about some dirty knickers!

Well if the BBC final series is so poor, its going to look excellent on ITV then. I imagine there is likely to be interest in what its like on ITV I would have thought, so the opning ep should be 7m+.
Really can't see production trying to sabotage this just because its moving to ITV, why would the BBC damage their own January share and producer a big trailer for this if this is the case? No issue with the BBC, the show has had its promotion and its prime slot, though I don't blame them if their secretly not all that bothered given the show is still producing primetime wins. |

Well its going be a big story next January. Iirc the show skews pretty old on BBC1, and it just might be that the bad press over Sir Tom Jones demise has had some effect together with ITV punching a bit stronger and the new coaches not taking off. As far as coaches are concerned that can be rectified as ITV have a blank canvas and the gimmick is still very strong imo. Its still easily ballsed up but the fact that its flagging on BBC1 doesn't mean its necessarily going to continue that way on ITV- in the short term at least. ITV can present it in a different way.

From Steve Williams on Twitter:
The Voice 6.63m Casualty 5.08m MOTD 4.10m War Horse 1.88m Ninja Warrior (exc HD and +1) 3.38m Take Me Out (exc HD and +1) 2.44m Ross (exc HD and +1) 1.73m Football League Part 1 (exc +1) 560k Football League Part 2 (exc +1) 510k Celebrity Big Brother (exc +1) 1.59m Montalbano 650k Good looking Casualty rating and MOTD proving once again that there is rarely a dull week in the Premier League. Would like to know the rating for the astonishing lead game segment. Ninja Warrior proving to an extent that you can give birth to a show around BGT and it can live and breathe away from it too. I wonder what they have got lined up to accompany BGT in the spring. Not too bad in the scheme of things for Football League Show I guess. |

Re. Tom Jones being cited as a possible factor in The Voice's decline: I'm not so convinced. I accept that older viewers may have liked seeing his involvement; personally, I found him quite a stilted presence on the show. He looked particularly awkward when it got to the live rounds.
Not that I'm suggesting Boy George and Paloma Faith are good replacements. Paloma Faith in particular - I can see why people would turn over the minute she opens her mouth. |

The production company remains unchanged, but the ratings are falling, and we saw even bigger falls on X Factor.
