Those were the consolidated figures I was referring to, ITV haven't released them yet (probably ready for 28 day data).

Fantastic timeshift for The Apprentice yet again

And good to see XF hit 8m despite them being the "worst shows ever".

Looks like episode 1 of Jekyll and Hyde didn't clear 5m with HD and +1.

ITV2's biggest brand is still Keith Lemon. So far he's ha success with BTTF tribute, Celeb Juice, rpt's of Through The Keyhole and The Keith Lemon Shetch Show.

Nothing else has really come close. That again is like the main channel, poor commissions and poor scheduling.

ITV2 seems his ratings level.

Keith Lemon's BTTFTribute got 1.7m inc+1

And BTTF II pushing 2m with 1.8m

BTTF basically dominates ITV2's top 10.

I think this for me is the biggest disapointment this year. Its seems like nobody actually cared, but then again neither did ITV for the rest of the year so I suppose the audience is just teaching them a lesson.

If only ITV was better this year, it might have got more attention from viewers. Cost cutting, them ploughing money back in, looks to me like a big mistake.

I thought Jekyll and Hyde would have at least hit 5m. Shows that people weren't keen on it. I'm shocked.

Almost another 1m for Gogglebox then from the repeat. It consolidates like a beast too!

I thought XF normally beats SCD when the consolidated figures are released? Or was that just one time mentioned in that Talktalk sponsored article on DS?

Gothic Horror which I think best describes J&H is the wrong fit for a family drama especially one that tries to create a superhero vibe. It was definitely the wrong slot for the show which would have fit perfectly into a 9pm slot - pretty much what quite a few have said on here.

Quite why ITV chose to do what they did with it is a mystery, especially considering that they wanted a 3 series run at least. Maybe as has been suggested elsewhere, ITV struggled with the concept, watered it down which left it in a strange zone between genre's.

Production by tick box people never works. Look at BBC Comedy.

Downton's consolidations are the stuff of dreams. Its ratings go from mid-table to blockbuster.

I'm not surprised I never watch it live. Start to watch about 9.30pm. Others wait to later in week. I watch on Sunday otherwise I find out what happens via chatter next day. Christmas episode I've never watched live. Even got left until NYD the other year as the response I saw online was quite negative.

In which case you would count in the overnights - if you had a BARB box of course.

I reckon TXF must be the most "chase-played" show of the week by a country mile. But nothing concrete to back that up.

Oh I know my figures would be included. All I'm saying is I can see why so many record to watch later. It's the only ITV drama I do watch on delay rather than later in week.

BT has confirmed two free football fixtures for BT Showcase this week:

Quote:
“Chelsea v Dynamo Kiev (Champions League, Wednesday at 7:45pm)
Rubin Kazan v Liverpool (Europa League, Thursday at 6pm)”

Could boost the FTV channel a bit, not that it matters too much to them. It's on Freeview (channel 59).

I'm a Celeb confirmed for 15th November at 9pm -10.50pm.

Depending on how this series opens facing the 'ITV ratings crises' (yes I know), we could see some super shares with it ending at nearly 11pm. The ITV2 show usually atteacts around 1.4m for the opening ep, so could see hares over 10%.

Jekyll & Hyde got less than 4.9m in consolidated ratings, which meand it timeshifted less than 1.5m.

Probably around 4.5m for just over 1m. So, so dissapointing.

How can Atlantis sustain such an audience, but J&H can't? 4-5m viewers still watched the final series of this BBC1 drama.

I think this is spot on. At the time Jekyll and Beowulf were commissioned I queried the source material in that both are very dark and how would they make them work for a family slot. In the end they appear to have fallen between not just 2 stools but about 6, leaving it as you say in a strange place which while enjoyable for me does not feel quite right.

You wouldn't say that rating is fine if it was the soaps, why? Xfactor used to pull in higher numbers than the soaps so its not like it was always a low rating show.. why is 6 million okay for Xfactor not the soaps, they get it and they're in crisis??? Plus its on once/twice every week, not everyday like the soaps, it should be more must watch tv as its not on all the time.
