Agreed
I have some ratings for November 1962 when Corrie was only on Monday and Wednesday and it was getting between 19 and 20 million.

Why wouldn't it of bounced back EE has no ratings problems outside of the clashes it is mostly ahead of ed outside of clashes.

Why all this talk of EE being cancelled it's just ridiculous if it was getting around 4.5m (overnights) all the time obviously it would need to be looked at and discussed but it's not.

EE 5.72m (28.4%)
ED 5.64m (30.6%) + 89k on +1

Emmerdale is the only one that comes out well there I think.”

So the second episode of cs was just 1 thousand ahead of ee with a lower share and some are saying ee will be cancelled ???

Fantastic for SCD.

It's lasted 52 years, do you want to compare when it was on with three TV channels, or Two, or when the ITV strike was on.

Just like Doctor Who then? Beaten by BBC News and Pointless? It was a fantastic episode, but very few casual viewers actually care.

X Factor is dead and buried. There is a lot of hatred towards the show and nobody gives a toss. It's all about Strictly.

Football League Show is pants. Why did it move there? The BBC (unless Cokehead Osborne had a say) should buy it back.

It's not the same show, no matter how much it suits you to think it is.

So 6.55m (31.5%) for X Factor. Not very good but could have been worse. I suspect last week will be as bad as it gets this year. It went on half an hour longer than last year which won't help with the comparisons. Interesting that the share wasn't down as much. Audiences are lower across the board this year. Only 20.8m were watching TV in X Factor's slot which is very low for such a grim evening.

It is a shame that the momentum from the 6 Chair Challenge has been sapped away, but last night could have been worse. Would The Voice so any better? I suspect not.

Does anyone know how Catchphrase did last night? It wasn't promoted at all so I suspect quite badly.

Great for Strictly, barely down on last year and a really good result for The Festival of Remembrance. Good for Pointless and OK for Doctor Who. Celebrity Chase is struggling against Strictly, it would be better off elsewhere. Jonathan Ross looks a bit better than the past few weeks but still not great.

Yes it is, look at any reference.

Why did it celebrate fifty years recently.

All shows have.
The Doctor -a time lord.
The TARDIS.

Last nights show had Zygons featured in Tom Baker years.

52 year old show.

True, all excuses are gone.
Peter Fincham- we do not want a clash, - yes we know why.

It's not a bank holiday.
No BBQs
No sunshine
Clocks changed.
Live Shows.
Rugby WC ended.

We have heard them all.

Yes no one cares.

Ten million are around for SCD but only six million for XF.

It's dead on the water. No excuses. Replace it with The Voice.

I thought X Factor's rating would have reached the 7 or even 8 mark with no clash this week.

WIth no clash with SCD, for X Factor to get a 6.4 rating is pretty poor. There's no doubt the show is on the downfall and getting replaced by The Voice looks inevitable.

I am glad the Festival Of Remembrance nearly beat it, That deserves a audience.

Yes it nearly restores my belief human nature a rating like that.

Like I said, it's not the same show and it hasn't run concurrently for 52 years.
