Ball Python breeding
Hi im looking at potentially getting into breeding ball pythons and was looking for peoples opinions.
I was thinking 2 males and 8 females to begin with and want to know what morphs i should purchase first? Total cost for all animals would be around £2000 Not looking to make some quick cash but more as a hobby and if i make a little bit on the side thats great. |

The market is crashing, a royal (ball Python) that cost £10,000 two years ago is selling for £85.
People assume that you can put two morphs together and they will mate, not always the case. If you have never bred snakes before I would advise you start with a breeding project with corns or other colubrids. The incubation and care for baby snakes is a huge commitment and responsibility, the best advice is to do research first. |
