I had another do with the Vicar.

He has got the cub scouts to make a guy for bonfire night in the form of Seann and was telling them that Seann is no better than the whore of Babylon!

Really? Do you live in the middle ages? If this is true then you need to report it to the relevant authorities.

If he dressed properly, I would like him more a lot more than I do. He's got a good voice, but it's the way he dresses, and these ridiculous gimmicks, like the ball and chain, that put me off him.

I think he is fantastic, its great people can be who they are

some folk are living in the past, I kind of feel sorry for them

What if he's not being who he is? What if he's just pretending, just playing a part?

Some of the comments in this thread make me depressed about humanity in this day and age. I don't know whether a lot of the posters on here who are saying "I'm bemused he goes out in public dressed like that", "the clothes he wears puts me off him", "him dressing like that makes me like him less" are a lot older than myself but what happened to people being allowed to express themselves however they want? Seann isn't hurting anyone. In fact, I think he's an exceptional role model for the LGBTQ community. I wonder what some of the posters' opinions on here were regarding Freddie Mercury...

If u take the voice on its own he can sing, however the way he dresses is part of his act and his voters may vote on that first and foremost.

Its the divaish antics i am not overly keen on.

Will finish about fifth and end up on celebrity big brother in january

I do agree with that in one way but in another way, I'm pleased that he's there. As much as I don't understand a bloke wearing six inch platform shoes and a gold lame dress with a very masculine body underneath it.....I'm so fed up with all the boy next door and the girl next door types that seem to flood the X Factor gates, that it actually is a welcome change to have someone with personality on the show!

I like him because he's flamboyant, and I think the pop world of late is lacking seriously in flamboyant stars....

The thing with this bloke, is that if you put the others next to him, instantly the only one you'll remember is Seann!

Plus I think he's got a great voice, although the only two songs I've heard him sing are Bassey style songs......

I agree he is very attractive and doesn't come across as a drag queen impersonator and his vocals are excellent. I think he will do well in the live shows as he comes across as very likable - remember Simon's comment at 6CC last week if people don't like you they will not vote for you never mind if your vocals are outstanding.

No - I live in 2015 - I don't have a Tardis. I did however take your advice and report the Vicar to social services. They are going to investigate but said sue to backlogs it was not a priority case and the cubs are not in immediate danger, so will be in the New Year.

Also it transpires that people can make a Guy Fawkes effigy in any form they chose - including mediocre X-Factor contestants who may or may not look like the Whore of Babylon.

Actually - if the Whore of Babylon was on a reality show I would have thought Strictly would be more suitable.

I really don't believe this victor tale sounds like something from the wicker man

I judge him purely by his voice but sadly I find it average and very cabaret

He does sound better than one or two of the girls.

Outside of major urban areas there is a lot more backwardness than you'd think from looking at the media. I'm not that shocked that people aren't that cool and relaxed about him.

Seann Miley Cyrus is what I call him.

His voice is pretty good, and yes that's most important.

I do wonder if he thinks his personal aesthetic actually looks good. It's entirely his RIGHT to wear the clothes and makeup he wants. But it being his right doesn't equate to it magically looking good on him. The haters speaking about it from a "moral" perspective can just shove off. But again, the fact that they are such ugly trolls does magically make what he chooses look good on him.

I actually think he styles himself brilliantly. The black lipstick is very Rihanna-esque. And I love the "masculine" baseball cap / "feminine" ear rings/clothes combo. He's got a distinct trademark look and it is all good for his brand. It's far better as a brand/performer/artist than wearing a Topman t-shirt and a pair of jeans.

He can dress and express himself exactly how he likes but not everyone is going to like him or enjoy him as a performer. He dares to be different which is fine but because of this he will always divide opinion.

He is a shining beacon of hope to everyone with a dream in their heart.

Why can't people just accept him - so what if he looks like a bad drag act who has forgotton their wig. He is the Danny la Rue of our age - a true star.

I think that support for him will be split right down the middle, but he unlikely to get the
mass votes than Ben picked up last year. A top six position might be realistic.

I'm not talking about him as a performer. I'm talking about how people's opinions of him are determined by the way he looks. It is like me saying "I would like Adele but the fact she's fat puts me off her". If someone read a comment like that, they'd be disgusted. There's no excuse for prejudice in this day and age.

His clunky platforms are horrid though, a pair of stylish stilettos would be far more flattering.
