Well you're wrong. They are much more dynamic and likeable - much like this year's panel!

I agree. They're useless. Both seem totally out of their depth and Olly, in particular, was like a rabbit in the headlights.

Dermot made what is actually quite a difficult job look effortlessly easy which probably went un noticed until you see how badly others manage.

Another spot-on observation!

Why is it that the show lasted some 2 hours with so much padding, but finally at the moments of tension and decisions the presenters look to hurry and rush it?

[Louisa leaves seat to hug Lauren along with the other girls] Caroline: "come on girls". Olly: "yeah, come on!" Totally amateur, they had no control and are just not suited to this role. As a decent option, I reckon Dara Ó Briain would do a good job - he's funny, well balanced and would be better organised... IMO!!

They were ok on the X-Factor but not on the main show. They ask someone a question and then cut them off just as they start to answer. It will get worse when the sing offs begin. There are three things missing from this years show, Dermot, Louis and Peter Dickson as well and not being enough of the Judges houses.

I'm probably in a minority but I prefer Caroline and Olly presenting, with their light-heartedness Dermot always made me cringe with his seriousness and trying to drum up tension.

Not a brilliant duo.

I still think they should have given the presenting gig to Konnie Huq.

Rating would be sky high by now.

Someone should make a complication of all of the worst bits from presenting

They should have got one person to present this ,a mature man even Steve Jones would do a better job

I didn't see either of the live shows because it just seemed really pointless. **shrugs**

Was Olly as bad as people here are making out when he presented Xtra Factor?

The ratings for Xtra Factor were poor when Caroline and Olly presented it.

I like them, though I still think Caroline would be brilliant on her own. Maybe Olly will step down next year and she can do it alone, she is a great presenter.

Olly's getting a bit of a bashing, but you have to remember he isn't actually a TV presenter. For someone with little experience I think he's doing alright.

Maybe they wern't the right choices, but I think the reaction is a little OTT. Who would people rather see presenting it? Assuming Dermot is out of the frame of course.

Also, they have an auto-cue, so why does Olly copy just about everything Caroline says?

Haha Poor is never a word to use with Olly

With a mediocre voice he is very lucky to be where he is in music and he will never be poor again because of the XFactor

in theory he should be working for free, he owes the xfactor

I'm not sure what they were thinking having him present the main show. It's like...okay let's have a non-presenter presenting one of ITV's biggest shows!! xD

That's annoyingly common among tv presenters these days

I wasn't a fan of Dermot saying exactly the same things week after week but these 2 don't look like the answer so far.

This mess of a format for judges houses show isn't doing them any favours either.”

agree like them both but at least itv2 was fun,and they did it well, its early days yet but miss dermot
