He did perform at the SCC, his fight with Simon happened after his performance. Nick even said he would have given him a seat if he hadn't have stormed off. Also none of the boys have shown versatility yet in my opinion.

He obviously replaced someone who made the chairs on the night. It is also obvious who has the voices that can adapt to different styles, his wont. He was very obnoxious and the message that sends out is that it is ok to be rude and we have enough of that in society these days
