I would have been happy with anyone else instead of Keira. She is totally forgettable and boring. And worse she made one of my favourite current songs so unrecognisable I was wondering what she was singing at first.
The only reason she is there is that Rita or the powers that be wanted to have a black girl in that category. The only thing is that they booted out a lot of other much much better black women and left her in for some strange reason.
She is so very very average and worse looks so petulant. Like a lot of others I hope she is the first one to get her marching orders.

I preferred Kiera before tonight, Monica was better tonight, both should have gone through but there was no way they couldn't put Lauren & Louisa through although I think they may well split votes attracting the same kind of audience.
For me, the winner isn't in the girls category, but a long way to go to change my mind

Keira is good but I agree seems unlikeable. Maybe we haven't got to see the real her yet. I'm glad Monica didn't get through. There was something about her I couldn't warm too. This year and last year.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if you're right. She's probably the blandest contestant out of everyone this year. Her voice is completely nondescript but she has nothing else about her to compensate for it.

I'm not keen on Keira either. There is nothing particularly remarkable about her voice and her performances are morose and uninspiring. I think Rita got sucked in by her sob story and felt sorry for her, hence why she put her through.
Her voice is so basic and she's definitely brattish. The dead Mum thing doesn't wash if you're not likeable at the same time. I can see her being in the bottom two several times until they can't feasibly save her any more and give her the boot in the mid-late stages.
I think she chose the right 3 yes Monica gave a good performance at judges houses but Kiera has been a lot more consistent through out the competition her six chair challenge performance for example was incredible . I think Monica is better at singing her own material as she's only great IMO when she sings her own songs .

Both havent been consistent.Lauren sang better than Monica.Monica was better on her own song than she is on covers.Better for her to write her own EP tbh.After all there is little success from record deals on the XFactor these days.Tom Mann from Stereo Kicks released his EP last month and it is incredible.

Both had decent voices but that was it

Yes Kiera does rely on the sob story but in fairness Monica did aswell

Monica wasnt going to survive singing covers on the XFactor.It is better for her to write her own songs now,release an EP and gig.That last performance has kick started her as a song writer.
I like Kiera - don't find her brattish or dislikeable at all. She and Lauren (Laura?) were my two favourites to go through. Rita made the right call.

This completely! Not only that but she has no vocal chops to back up the constant tantrums. Monica had the emotion and originality in bucketloads + had the vocal chops on top of all that to back up the attitude (tbh with Monica it wasn't even attitude but just a strong-willed woman who knows what she wants).
Monica was horrifically robbed. All 3 of the other girls were tbh!

I thought so.She has been consistent.
I'm really pissed off she got through. I wanted it to be anyone but her... Her voice is nothing special, she'll be giving average performances at live shows. Hoping she's out by week 3!!
I was staggered Monica was not picked, not so much because I think she deserved it more, but they carefully laid out her (very sad admittedly) family tragedy last year which I thought was part and parcel of her story and journey which they were feeding us before her name was announced. Obviously getting too cynical in my dotage.

Agreed. I don't know where the bad attitude stuff has appeared from. Her attitude is fine to me.
