Rita's speech on the tales to come
threecheeses

Referring to the girls, about their lifes.

Do people really like all that?
I have no interest in what made the singers the person they are today, whether they are a single mother, a man who has lost their wife, if they live in shoebox or work in a biscuit factory etc

I'd like to just listen to them to see if I like their voice, if they have something different and decide on a winner that way, I don't really care if they are over emotional or cocky either.

Just want to support a contestant who is likely to grab my attention on the radio or maybe entertains me with a performance on a Saturday night, someone to look forward to watching but mainly listening.

Rita has been with the X-F 5 minutes and she is already brainwashed into the public love a sob story, maybe most people do?

The sob stories are what put me off a contestant. What about those who have no back story yet who are talented? Would it come down to those who have the saddest story? No, in my book. Just sing the damn song!

Should be about the song and nothing at all to do with someone's background,as that's another program. Shame the judges allow it to happen!

I didn't really understand why she said they were so brave. It's not like they've been fighting in Afghanistan....

I really liked Rita tonight. She has a very positive, genuine, uplifting energy about her. She's a great addition to the show, whilst also being perhaps their most relevant judge ever.

I agree with this! Rita showed real enthusiasm and looked like she belonged there, unlike Nick and even Cheryl, who's done this for years, has been a bit naff. I got the impression Cheryl wasn't much of a fan of this new version of JH. What she and the other judges had to do was pretty ridiculous, let's be honest.

Rita obviously picked the three she gets on with the most that was obvious from her speech saying how she has got to know the girls personally. Monica compared to lauren was way better but laurens like ability & personality got her through which is unfair it's a singing competition but with people like sean, mason & bupsi it has become more about entertainment value than about good singers im just glad Che & Louisa got through & not lost their places to some joke act

I don't think she is that likeable - she is actually very annoying and the way she talks is very childish and annoying! I
