Just wondering what dancers DS posters favour, male or female and which professionals they cannot abide!

My favourite female dancer was Flavia Cacace. She looked different but lovely with her short blunt bob and seemed passionate and fiery and was an excellent dancer.

I couldn't stand James Jordan and frankly am glad he has left the show. Must have been shocking the programme managed to somehow continue without the self confessed "Brad Pitt" of the dancing world! You could tell he was full of himself and rude and never reacted politely or calmly when met with even the slightest bit of critique.

I have to confess Brendan can get on my nerves also. Winning is so important to him (as I am sure it is to all the dancers) but I just get the feeling that when Brendan dances, no matter with whom he is partnered he feels the dance is all about him

Love all the pros but for different reasons and yes I even have a soft spot for Anton..doesnt mean that he is still not rubbish at Latin though Yes I even like KFG

My favorites women pros are : Ola, Kristina, and Aliona.

Love all the male pros for different reasons and I dont really have a favorite since Vincent, Matthew and Robin. Gleb is slowly starting to become my favorite though : very good creative choreographer, lovely, funny, Gorgeous..Yep.....I'm pretty sure that by next year (hoping he is still on the show ) he will be my favorite.


The only pro I don't like is Janette.

Natalie, Alijaz, Kristina and Pasha are my favourites - all of them are great teachers and support to their celeb partners. I loved Ivetta from last year too.

I like all the pros for different reasons and think they do a fab job...I don't dislike any of the pro dancers, though my least favourite is probably Aliona and Brendan. Aliona is a fabulous dancer, but I'm not that impressed with her attitude to her celeb partners who might not be great a dancing.

Like them all but Natalie and Alijaz are my faves(also Iveta from last year)

Gleb is gorgeous yes and Giovanni Pernice is also easy on the eye. I hope he and Georgia win this series anyway

Kristina gets a hard time in the media due to the intimacy that grows between couples on the show but in fairness to the lady she is far from the only dancer where this has happened! I wouldn't say she is a favourite of mine but she is a gorgeous motivated lady and brilliant dancer and the negative media attention is in my view , unfair.

Oh I also like Pasha! He seems so sweet!

My favorite male pro ever is Pasha for many many reasons, favorite ever female pro is Natalie. Anya gets a mention too although she only had one season but really deserved to return for more. I liked James Jordan (there I said it and now I feel like I should go and hide before the stone throwing starts. I loved him dancing and how enthusiastic he was about a partner who was willing to try hard).

I wasn't a fan of Artem, he was a bit too grumpy for me. Brian Fortuna wasn't for me either. I had nothing against any of the female pros really, Aliona and Karen for a couple of different reasons wouldn't be my favorites though.

When he doesn't bond well with his partner it really shows- he expected the lady from Destiny's Child to be more skilled than she was and his disdain and frustration towards her really began to show.
And if the viewer can see it, then she would definitely have felt it and that would hardly have improved the ladies dancing! No, not a fan of Brendan.

My feelings about the pro dancers waver a lot. Current favs are:

Gleb and Kevin (though I don't care for Kellie) and Karen and Natalie.

Past dancers I liked a lot: Flavia, Erin, Ian, Iveta, Trent and Vincent.

The two pros I tend to love to hate on-and-off are Anton and Brendan. I'm not keen on Aliona either.

I love the pros whose coreography I enjoy: Natalie, Artem, Aliona, Iveta, and Trent are the ones I am (or was) excited about every week. Gleb might join that list, but it's still a bit too early to tell.
At the other end of the spectrum are Ola, James, Kevin, and Tristan - I find their choreography rather dull and boring, so I'm not a big fan. Haven't seen anything exciting from Giovanni yet either, but we'll see.

Ola's celebrity routines had been stereotyped for years. (<< past tense I feel)
Anton's latin is so bad it's almost outrageous.
Kevin dances like a flea on a hotplate.
Brenda's arms are so long he look like one of those high-bar monkey toys.
Kristina dances like a tiger on heat.
Jeanette is mainly good at advanced flashing, I mean, advanced stretching.
Lilia, where are you?

Tbh I like all the pros past and present, They all seem lovely and supportive.

I adore Aliona always have and Aljaz is my fave boy. Some of his routines for Abbey were just lovely.

Of the ones I admire .. Natalie, Flavia, Aliona, Pasha, Trent & Alijaz. I feel Oti will probably join this list when I've seen her more.
I like most of the rest except James.

I like most of them, but particularly love the choreography and dancing of both Nathalie and Brendan.. They are supremely talented in my opinion, and extremely versatile. And Artem was particularly good too, though I found him too scary to warm to him.

James 'Wolverine' Jordan was actually a gallant partner.
Tristan has all the luck of the oirish (in staying on Strictly Come Dancing)
I thought Iveta Looksashooter was in the show "for the life"


tell the truth, it was the unnaturally dazzling big white teeth, wasn't it? Stevie Wonder didn't even need glasses before he looked at Artem.

I like them all, mostly - I even have a strange affection for the bad pro dancers like Anton. I'd keep them all next year.

My current faves are Aljaz, Karen, Natalie and Gleb, but I honestly really like most of the pros. There are very few that I have disliked when they were on the show (I even tolerated James for a long time...his last year was when I went off him).

All time faves...Ian was pretty great. I really loved Matthew as well, mainly for his partnership with Alesha.

I've always wavered between loving, liking, disliking and despising the pros to be honest.

Aljaž, Darren, Pasha, Robin and Tristan have all seemed like lovely, genuine guys who love to teach a celebrity to dance, no matter what their ability.
The same could be said for Erin, Flavia, Janette, Iveta, Lilia and Natalie.

Although Vincent, Brendan and Gleb can appear vain, I can't help liking their competitiveness and arrogance. It's similar to Aliona's sense of drive to achieve (when she has the right male of course, rather than some duffer)

Alternatively, the Jordans bug me. There's something very smug about them that I don't like. Artem was extremely unlikeable too - the USA are welcome to him. He was all show and zero personality. Anton is unbearable too - he thinks he's bigger than the show (has done for years). I'm not keen on Giovanni and I don't think he'll last long.

But, most of all, I cannot bear the entire Clifton clan. Admittedly, Karen, on her own in her first series was fine but when she brought her awful cocky boyfriend with her and his sister with her silly childish voice; along with all the preferential treatment they get on the show I curl my toes at the sight of it.

Flavia has always been my overall favourite pro. Love to see her and Vincent in their own shows but still miss them from SCD too.

I didn't watch the earlier series of strictly (1-4) so never did get the Lilia/Darren love. I didn't see them when they were at their best though admittedly. As a group for pro dance purposes I liked the series 5/6 pros. There were some great numbers those years.

Of the current male pros I'm enjoying Aljaz & Gleb and Giovanni is growing on me.
I think Anton fills a good role on the show but wouldn't trust him with another contender in future series. I don't mind Pasha or Kevin but wouldn't miss either of them and nor would I miss Brendan.

Of the current females I don't really have a favourite. I think Janette has a nice friendly personality so like her best probably for that reason. Karen and Joanne annoy the life out of me. Karen's OTT reactions when being saved each week grate on every last nerve!!

The rest is/was just filling.

On the dilsikes, I've never disliked any pro other than James Jordan. But then it was an almighty dislike, he made my skin crawl.

I simply adore Aliajz - no idea why

Can't stand the sweaty one who dances with Katie from Corrie.

I feel that I have to love Kevin as he's a local lad - I do love his over enthusiasm too - I get that it annoys some people but - he loves his dancing.

Love Natalie - and I have a huge soft spot for Anton.

I'm warming to Aliona - it took a while.

Haven't got a consistent favourite really, on the fence really.

I love Anton.
I like Pasha.
I liked James, Vincent, Ian, Andrew and Darren.
I hated Artem

I loved Erin
I love Ola and Natalie
I like Joanne
I liked Lilya and Iveta
I hate Karen Hauer/Clifton
