After her first series Natalie has always been a favourite, and she's lovely in real life and a fabulous teacher.
Kristina is a sweetheart but I don't rate her as a dancer, though I've been really impressed with her work with her celebs the past couple of years.
Karen has grown on me and she's great with the less able celebs. I still don't like Kevin, and I find Joanne too giddy and childish sometimes (but her ballroom is fabulous).
I really like Janette (aside from her ballroom) and Aljaz.
I've been a fan of Aliona since she danced with Matt Baker. And I've liked Pasha since he joined.
I used to like Brendan and Ola but not so much any more. I've never liked Anton.
The rest I'm indifferent to.
Historically, no-one beats Flavia and Vincent. I still miss Ian and Matt Cutler as well, and Artem just for the nostalgia of his one wonderful year when he was dancing with Kara.
Out of the males Gleb and Giovanni have already been added to my "favourites" list. Both are brilliant dancers and I love their choreography. I also love Anton. I know he struggles with Latin but he makes me laugh and I do enjoy his ballroom. I also think he's been a very good sport with the partnerships he's been handed in recent years. Tristan is another favourite of mine. He's got that sparkle in his eye and has a great sense of humour.
Unfortunately a lot of my favourite female pros have departed such as Flavia and Iveta. Out of the current lot I'd say Natalie in terms of dancing, and Karen always makes me smile. I also like Joanne and was sorry to see she hadn't been partnered up this year. Ironically, her brother Kevin is the only pro I can't take too. His dancing, in fact everything about him, is just a little OTT.
My past faves included Lilia, Flavia, Iveta and Vincent. I was beginning to really like Trent as well in terms of his choreo.
Current faves are Natalie, Kristina, Aljaz. I'm liking Oti but pity she didn't stay long.
The pros that I think are not so great as dancers/teachers are Karen and Janette. Although they are both very supportive and such, I don't think they can teach good technique and such. Both seem to focus on flash instead of quality. Anton is really poor in Latin but I think everybody knows that by now.
