But in between thinking it up and coming to post it, It became forgetfully lost.

Something about how the show doesn't care for the contestants properly.
Rarely do we see a live performance that matches up to the diamonds found in auditions and bootcamp stages.
Sure, it happens, but on the whole, the staged production cheapens their identity much more than allow them to flourish.

Oh and another thing, Mason really has been chewed up and spat out so far. Yes he deserves it but it's laughable how he is now ever so humbled and blessed to be a part of something he hates.

I'm just salty that Andrea didn't win last year. His opening episode earth song was his best performance and the production lost him as each week progressed.

On the contrary, I suspect everything the public have seen of Mason so far has been incredibly scripted and staged. That's why he's miraculously ended up as part of the live shows.

He's not made the live shows for nothing. He's been a key part to this series so far in the same way Jedward were in 2009.

Hitstastic, I do think you're right. It just now as a result he looks like a snivelling softy on the brink of a breakdown. If they wanted a talking point, they got one, sure. But he currently is far from the bad guy image I thought was supposed to being fronted.

I think the whole thing was an act, and now by acting like a cry baby allows the strategic sympathy from the public to kick in ready for the live shows.

X Factor has become so transparent, it's like looking through a pane of glass.

OT; Big Brother 2006 there was a housemate called Craig who came across as a typical gay bitch, being rude and obnoxious in his VT before he went into the house. I pretty much knew from that VT that he would end up being a wet blanket in the house...and that's exactly what he turned out to be like.
