Are fourth impact a bit mid 90s for the uk

They can sing but their act seems a bit dated, they do the same routine for all songs.

I could only seem doing late 90s type spice girl type numbers

I could not even seem them doing girls aloud songs.

Their outlook is quite American so not really sure what songs they will be given .

There is probably a market for them but I don't know who that would be in the uk

Well if some of the songs in the chart this year are anything to go off, then that's probably going to be a big advantage for 4th Impact.

Watered down rehashes of the 90s has dominated the UK charts in 2015 - the most recent example being that rather pointless dance cover of Another Level's Be Alone No More.

Yeah, they remind me of the Nolans - not a good thing in the 2010s.

That's their origin but that seems dated for the uk some of the YouTube videos seem a bit new kids on the block.

So perhaps the target is to break them overseas

They're very outdated and I can see them losing popularity in the first couple
Weeks because they ain't done anything different yet. They're like some tribute band on cruise ship!

tbh there were so many "cruise ship" acts in the last 24 they could have filled their own ship

Simon nond out already has a contract for them so he can exploit the massive asian market , however thsee girls have been around for years and not cracked it yet

One thing I liked about the 90s was groups like this all had to dance, One Direction are really lacking in that department compared to their predecessors like Backstreet Boys and NSYNC.

I'm not sure. I really like them, but i view them more as a vocal group than a teen pop group. It seems they want to go that route and i am sure Simon would love it, but i just don't buy into that image for them. As long as whatever they release is catchy, they will do well. IMO

I think whatever they choose, they just need to make it known with the song choices. Pour pure emotion into the choices they make.

And I don't think you know what mid 90's is.

They can sing and they are quite slick, but there is something a bit unsavoury about them.

Be interesting what songs they get anyway I am guessing the mum might dissaprove if anything risqué comes up

All the songs so far don't seem to be that current.maybe part of their current repertoire, they are at odds with the sexy songs they sing as they seem asexual . If they were more cheesy they would appeal to preteens and maybe the gay market (thinking Kyle minogue etc) but not British Teens
