What is going on with the stock situation of the Motorola Moto G 3rd Generation 2 GB RAM/16 GB ROM?

It is out of stock on both Motorola.co.uk (keeps showing stock soon, but this has been shown for a while), and Amazon.co.uk shows no ETA.

Is it over for the 2 GB RAM/16 GB ROM version? No more stock now?

Wait for 4th Generation?

Or are they going to start shipping the 3rd with Android Marshmallow‎?

Or some other stock replenishment issue?

Its a popular phone, I should imagine they will soon have stock through their own website. For the price its a fabulous device and you have every right to want the high ram and flash storage.

I have had a look on amazon and a few other places, due to said shortage they are charging an arm and a leg. When it becomes available via the Motorola website you can design it your way, rather than have the standard model from other suppliers.

It's the same for the moto x style. Amazon now sold out, waiting time on their website is about a month. Appears they are selling well.
