When do they start doing two dances?

I know at some point they do two dances a week, one of the judges choice. I'm sure Jay will be asked to repeat his quickstep if he's still in and I look forward to that. I know it's later in the show but can't remember when. Anyone?

Also in the last couple of series they've had a _-a-thon group elimination dance in the QF.

The judges usually ask them to do a dance they've messed up. I would like to see it again and I'm sure both Jay and Aliona would like the opportunity to do it properly - if they are still there. I hope they will be.

But its a bad dance from start to finish, Even Aliona didnt seem to like her own dance based on last nights ITT

Yes, which is why I was hacked off they didn't ask Caro!line to do her American smooth again.

I think the judges ask them to do a dance that they want to give 10s to.

Sometimes that's the dance that they had a small error on. Sometimes it's their first dance to see improvement, sometimes it's one of their crowd pleasers that was perceived under marked.

The point of it is to be able to chuck 10s at them.

I actually think J&As Paso or Waltz would fit better as a judges choice (assuming if they get to the final their Jive is their fave dance) but I can equally see a case for the redemption storyline for the QS.
