My elephone p7000. When my phone arrived i used the screen protector that came with the phone. I put it on and it was bubbly as hell, so once my case arrived i took it of and just used the case. The case has a circle on the front so you can see the time etc.

Problem is that for the outline of the circle i have had a build up of un removeable dirt on the screen. Anyway i took a hot cloth to it, it may have been soapy, left it to dry out. Switched it on later, it flashed the elephone logo before dying. same on the mains and when i connect via usb. Now it is just dead. I also still have the circle outline on my screen.

So i ordered a new battery, £15, so no biggie if it doesnt work. If i take out the battery and plug it up to the mains should it power on?

I am now eyeing up the elephone vowney as a replacement. Yet again i would rather go windows, and i like the 950 xl but at £500+ MS are having a laugh.
