If she's on the show next year Natalie MUST have a contender So far it's gone Ricky Whittle, Scoot Maslen (Contenders) but then four no-hopers. The only problem for the female pros is the dearth of men with dance talent. With some notable exceptions women are better than men at dancing and even if they are not that good they still look better doing it than men.

I can only agree with all the comments on here. She is adorable and every year I am desperate for her to get another contender, I see Nat as the most deserving pro to get that glitter ball. So sad that she is now out for another year.
I like Ainsley and they certainly had a great relationship but I think she should have got Jay this year.

One of my favourites - why can't we see pro dances like that any more, instead of the dreadful messes we get now?
She has been my favourite dancer since her first series with Ricky. I SO wanted them to win, but alas it was not to be. She brought something new to the show with her choreography and really impressed me.
Her attitude to those she is partnered with is always caring and she manages to bring out the best in them whatever their ability.
Lovely lady!
Really hope she will return next year and get the win she so deserves.
Sad to see Ainsley go too as he was a lot more entertaining than the other less able celebs still involved this year.

I love seeing so many positive comments for Natalie these days. I remember it being very very different in her first year, but I really liked her from the start and she's now my favourite pro by some margin. 
Every year I end up rooting for Natalie and her partner, no matter who he may be. She's the full package - extremely talented dancer, pretty, endlessly enthusiastic, always gracious - no matter who she ends up with, and most importantly she's a fantastic teacher. I always remember how she took Michael Vaughan from below-20 scores at the start, to an American Smooth scoring 35 the week before he went home. I genuinely don't think many of the other pro dancers could have done that.
It makes me so sad that she still doesn't have a glitterball, especially considering she really should have won it in her first year (and made a decent case for it in the second!)

I thought so too. There seemed to be an inevitably that Jay would be paired with Aliona, OK then so be it, but if Aliona is due for a contender then surely Natalie has a better case, being that Aliona is already a winner and since her first two series Natalie has had a string of [more or less] duffers?

Aliona was very good with Tony Jacklin (though not so much with Rav Wilding or Gregg Wallace - but you can hardly blame her for that!) - but I do agree with everyone about Natalie. She's definitely a special person.

I think a lot of the overseas female pros were overly ambitious in their first year, but they quickly start to fit in with the Strictly camaraderie.
so Natalie has had three duffers in a row now?? Michael (although he improved a lot, still love his jive), Tim and Ainsley
