I love this series but some little things really niggle. Chief one at the moment is that (virtually) every time Claudia hands over to the judges for their scores, the voice-over man repeats what she says, so it's said twice:
Claudia: The judges have their scores...
V/O Man: The judges have their scores.
Couldn't Claud just say: 'Over to the judges' and leave it for him to say?

It's a teeny thing, but for me it grates and pulls me out of my involvement in the prog.

Darcy and her death stares to Craig EVERY time he gives a score. You don't have to agree with his scores Darcy as you are a judge and are free to score as you like but, for that, please respect his opinion and his scores

It's a minor thing.

I don't see the point of Bruno. 2 men and 2 women on the judges panel would work better.

I don't like the judges 'dancing' on - it's not about them and they are not doing ballroom or latin, just some weird showing off, drug induced freak-out!

Is it me or has Tess stopped that so-annoying "Look, they're all on their feet" when someone gets a standing ovation? Used to really bug me, but either she's stopped or I'm blanking it out now!

Now if only Claudia would stop saying "We can't do this alone..." every single time she introduces Len's Lens...

Another of mine is the way everyone points to the phone number as it's being announced...and does that thing with their fingers telling people to ring.

Yes, it makes you wonder how any of them are qualified to judge other people.

It reminds me of being at competitions. The winners don't just stroll over to get the trophy, they do a dance/ walk.
Perhaps the pro's should escort them like they do Tess and Claudia? I quite like that bit.

Or they could just be sitting in their chairs like they always used to be! Just a bit more Razzamatazz and Glitzy Glamour I guess.....

As this is the place for small things - Claudia's fringe, drives me slightly nuts. Zoe's used to be as bad. I have a fringe, but I can see from underneath mine, just cut a tiny bit of Claud, please.

I haven;t seen that myself, only when the couples are announced, the lady will often spin out ready to present to the audience, before taking their place in the line up. But haven't noticed any dancing/ walking on prior to that?.

Agreed. Plus the way she talks over the other judges even though she's already had her turn (and it's gone on and on). Simply rude.

Why do "wardrobe" make lovely full length gowns for some celebs and not others. This week Kirsty had a lovely dress that being full length covered a multitude of sins, whereas Jamelia ( for the second time I think) had an awful cropped dress, from which she could not hide bad leg/foot actions and poor footwork.

A lady in a long floaty dress will always look far better ( even if shes not) in a full length gown, so either have them all in full length dresses or all short, otherwise its not fair.

Yes, this, definitely, every time, teeth on edge, so annoying. It's so "going through the motions" now as well.

Also what a big production number everyone makes of saying "THANK YOU! THANK YOU! OH THANK YOU!" when they're called safe. Just one time I want someone to do it when they're put under the red light.

They weren't saying thank you at all for the first couple of weeks, then they must have been told to do it. Sincerity - not so much.

This would be really funny. Mind you, I wouldn't mind betting that one or two over the years have really thought this, even if only to themselves...

I think one or two people were yelling it from week one so the others have kind of had to start. I don't think there is anyone this year who would really be able to stop themselves if everyone else is. I can remember on at least one year one poster on DS keeping a record and anyone who didn't say thank you was 'ungrateful' and would get it in the neck.

I wish they stopped Claudia going over and over the T&Cs after giving the tel. voting number for each couple.
Then saying over and over 'don't vote now, wait till the lines open .

Just wait till all the couples have danced .
