All the cheering and whooping is organised by production through the floor managers .
The constant noise created on the live show I find unbearable at times .

No.
Craig should rise on his chair out of the floor like the Blackpool Wurlitzer.
Darcey should be revealed from behind a curtain.
A pair of doors should open and Len on his chair should whizz forward on rails into position (with a white cat on his lap, perhaps)'
Bruno should be craned in dangling from his suspenders and dropped on his head.

V/O Man: The judges have their scores.
Couldn't Claud just say: 'Over to the judges' and leave it for him to say?”

I've never noticed this, but I will probably notice this every week from now on and I'll tell my family, friends and work colleagues, and they'll tell their family and friends. And so what was once your minor niggle will become a nationwide niggle......:

Actually, this is just about on topic because it concerns Jeremy Vine, but the pointless phrase that niggles for me is Jeremy saying on Eggheads "Eggheads, who will beat you?" when they've just lost to the challengers.

Another (rather unreasonable) niggle for me is Len sometimes sitting ramrod straight in the judge's chair, espectially if he is annoyed. I think I should find it commendable that he is not slouching....but I don't!

It annoys me that Jamelia and Tristan's outfits never match. One week they wore two different greens, one week she was in bright yellow and he was in mustard and this week she was in fuchsia pink while he was in some sort of dark red. It's daft, but they always clash and I notice it while they're dancing. I'm sure that they used to accent the man's outfit with the same colour as the woman's dress.

Excellent re. your first point - I'm a megalomaniac at heart!
Agree very much about the Eggheads thing. It's like on Pointless, when Alexander Armstrong says 'Brilliant contestants!' every time someone's knocked out.

Great niggles - keep 'em coming!

100% agree with this. What is with the "I can't believe you have given that score" look she gives Craig all the time. What's it to her, mind your own business and concentrate on your own scoring.

Another niggle is during the VTs when the pro will say to the celeb "our dance is based on a pilot theme so I thought I will take you to a flight simulator to get some inspiration" or "our dance is based on a Spanish theme so I thought I would take you to a tapas bar to get into the mood". It's not the pro's idea but the producers.

The 'Oooh, err, missus!' camparama we have to go through every blimmin' time Ian Waite whips out his wand on ITT.

That is a direct consequence of "phone scandals" over the years. If the BBC don't keep repeating "won't count but may be charged" tabloids will run attack headlines on them cheating phone call money out of hard working families.

"Your dance is to a Cuban tune so you can watch me smoke this cigar and drink a bottle of rum" said Kristina.

No, have her rolling the cigars on her thighs. They could make a lot of money for Children in Need by auctioning them off!

Another of mine is the way everyone points to the phone number as it's being announced...and does that thing with their fingers telling people to ring.”

That's my main bug bear - I don't vote for anyone - but if I did that would put me off!

Also don't like....

The judges dancing on
The pathetic videos they show before the actual dance - where usually the celeb sees their children or something "seeing my child has given me the confidence I needed for Saturday" or some really childish joke scene.
The popcorn during movies week - what's that all about? really awkward how they have to collect it on their way up the stairs

Absolutely agree about the videos - I'd rather see them practising and, if possible, being honest about how they feel - it would help us to get to know them and understand the process.

Have to say I quite like the popcorn!!

CIGARS! Thought it is a thought ............

(Traditionly Cuban cigars are rolled on the thighs of dusky Cuban maidens or at least that is what they tell the tourists who buy them)

I guess one of my major niggles has to be the ridiculous neverending run-on questions that both Claudia (much as I love her) and Zoe are guilty of.

Claudia will ask something like, "How do you feel about the judges' comments because they were a bit harsh weren't they and you were at the top of the leaderboard last week and it must have been so hard dancing first but you must be happy about how it went because the foxtrot is notoriously difficult, isn't it ?"

I'm sorry, what was the question again ?

Love it! I've never noticed that before but will be looking out for it now! How to answer your own question and leave nothing for your interviewee to say!

Calling people a 'dark horse', particularly when they are top of the leaderboard, or were top of the leaderboard last week or are favourites with the bookies. Kellie was called a dark horse after her jive for example. It's a tiny unimportant thing but it always annoys me.

Spot on - would much prefer to see training than the awkward 'stories' they currently concoct up!

Also (and this is probably me being stupid) I've never quite 'got' the fact that, after the dance off, Len is meant to be the decider if the vote is tied. How can it be tied if there are three other judges? If two judges vote for contestant X to stay, and one for contestant Y, then surely Len would either force a tie himself, or vote for the same as the other two. I understand the theory, but it seems an awkward kind of way of explaining it.

And belts. Seems to stick a belt on every dress whether it warrants one or not.
