I always thought it was a shame that the dance troupe didn't work here when it seemed to work well for Dancing With The Stars.

It would have enabled a more flexible pro lineup but I suspect cost may have been a factor.

I also thought Jo did a great job on choreography corner.

I'm just slightly worried the producers might tell her to keep it less detailed in future to keep to time constraints, but I'd far rather have stuff like this on ITT than all the filler we get between most of the couple interviews these days!

Jo really came across as a natural teacher on CC last night. I like Karen Hardy (seriously experienced teacher and judge), but thought Jo pitched it at a much better level if I'm honest.

I like Ian's WW too, but wish Zoe would flirt/bring it back to her dancing days a bit less often; the banter to technical review balance is too far skewed for me!

Given she's won that Showdance title and how many British titles was it?..... I'm not surpised she knows her stuff.

I thought her tips on Choreography corner were really good, like the custard idea, lol. What i like about Joanne is that she's not like any of the other pros, male or female. She's got a personality that may well divide opinion, but I quite like her alternatively chirpy personality (and at least she is making sense through it). I don't usually concurr with others, but I prefer her way of describing and demonstrating technique than Karen or Ian.

Shame a male celeb dropped out this year, as I think it would be great to see a dancer as good as her showcase what she could really do on the dancefloor!

I thought she did a really good job, the tips came across so well. Looking forward to her doing it again next week.

Good knowledge as always Bendymixer - on Kevin beating Derek Hough!

I'm not sure about the person dropping out idea, as someone said earlier we've had odd numbers of pros/celebs before but have zero actual knowledge of that!

Joanne did better in Choreography corner than Kristina don't you think? And I didn't even think of myself as a Joanne fan.

I personally thought Joanne did a better job, but Kristina was fine too.

I enjoyed watching her put Tristan in correct hold too, made me laugh when she hung off him. I imagine she'd be fantastic teaching kids to dance.

Joanna did well on ITT. Seems to be more confident in herself than trying to play a character when she wasn't so used to the camera last year.

My assumption from the start was based on previous details of how the pro contracts are structured. Basically, the required number of pros are signed at some point in the summer. There's a minimum number of hours for filming and dates involved and provision to perform duties as required by the production. That gets a fixed fee, with additional payments for reaching later rounds. The BBC have Joanna available and being paid because (for whatever reason) they had celeb drop outs and not enough stand bys. My guess is that once the initial contract period is up she won't be appearing. Note the surprise when Zoe asked Kristina if she could come back next week. That looked like the producers knew Kristina would be availble for ITT and still in contract. They told Zoe but may have been waiting to tell Kristina until they saw how the first session went,

There's a limit to how many celebs can be expected to put other commitments on hold for a couple of months in case someone else drops out. Slightly more flexibility with existing BBC contracts but the danger is the show is stuffed with only BBC presenters. Was Iwan being last announced and having existing work commitments a coincidence? Probably not. The lack of standbys also led to Antony being left in despite injury. Better to have said not this year, but already out of standby males and 8-6 would leave the production schedules short.

Both were certainly better than either Karen Hardy or Ian Waite.

Didn't she say something like 'when I am with the kids' on Monday, suggesting that she does a lot of teaching children. I can imagine her being very good with them.
