I've liked her since the beginning but my God she was incredible last night. I've watched her performance of "Take Me Home" back several times. I even loved the way she was loving her own performance - not in an arrogant way but like "yes, I nailed it".

She has the best voice of all the girls this year and I hope she can give the bookies favourite a run for her money.

Go Lauren!

I really like Lauren and hope she does well in the live finals! She has a really strong voice, I hope Rita mentors her well and chooses the right songs.

Of those who have made it to the finals, I liked Lauren best.

Lauren was the best at judges houses - some people didn't like how Lauren was reacting when she was shown performing (I have seen people call her arrogant) I think she was just adding a little bit of fun to a very stressful night.

Hope she goes far in the competition,. I think the female viewers vote is very important for Lauren, if they don't like her, then she's screwed sadly.

She's got a good personality and is a great singer so no problems with getting votes there. To win you've got to have charisma and she has it in abundance.

Great song this week and she's done really well to get to 12 on itunes. That's the highest so far this year I think cancelling License to Kill went in her favour.

My favourite from this year. I like how she's so completely different when she talks to when she sings. Like Nick said, has the funny ditzy personality normally but goes into powerful voice mode for the performance. Hope she wins.

Just realised last night that she reminds me of Leona at times, especially when she sings the high bits. Not the worst sign.

Her week 2 performance has over 550,000 youtube views https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FTpg9el9L0

and this week is at almost 357,000 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5gyn6kmimE
Hope she has a good song and another good week this week!

I wonder does she have any Irish connection with a surname like Murray. Or else Scottish, I suppose!

She has a youtube account of covers done a while ago. Not the best recordings but some good singing, my favourite is this one:

Hey everyone, i've been browsing these forums for a while now since this season of X Factor has been on, and whilst ordinarily i'm not a huge fan of the show, I love the competition side of things and how we warm to a particular contestant each series, so i've decided to get involved!

I picked Ben to win from his audition last year and I also picked Lauren after her audition this year. There's something about her that is really sensational. When she's on it, I think she has the best voice, she's capable of hitting those notes so well.

I'm aware of what's happening this week and in the media, the bookmakers have Drifted Lauren out to 7-1 and Louisa is a red hot favourite to win at 8-15.

I still believe Lauren has a chance of winning the competition, she has been under the radar throughout the whole series so far. But this week is such a huge week for her. She needs to nail it and steal the show to at least stay with Louisa and shorten her odds.

What do you guys think? I'm interested to hear from some of the more experienced members and veterans of this forum. Can Lauren still win? She still has a chance at second favourite

She had bad publicity a couple of weeks ago with that thing about moving out of the house. I don't think it will make that much difference. How many people who vote read all the stories? My guess is not that many. The performance on Saturday is what will decide things.

Thanks for that link, oliness. Good to see a bit more of her singing!

I don't think she had a great weekend gone by, partly due to that awkward song of a million lyrics, but hopefully she'll do better this weekend. I think she has to knock our socks off AND get a good production from the show which I don't think they gave her last weekend. All she can do is give the best performance she can on her two songs and not let any of the media rubbish bother her. She'll still be a great singer no matter when she goes out and she should think of her remaining time as an opportunity to show us what she can do and promote herself to anyone watching.

I liked the million lyrics last weekend. One of the impressive things about Lauren's voice IMO is that she can sing a lot of words without needing to pause. Not every singer can quite do that.

I wonder if there's any chance of her missing this weekend and getting a bye into the following one? I don't think it's too late for that. Hope she gets better soon either way.

Ever since her 6 chair song "Say You Love Me" i've been a fan and have voted every week; not a huge fan of Whitney/Mariah covers as they'e kind of boring so glad she sang something different this week; i liked both songs, not sure why they were attacking the first one, i enjoyed it.

Absolutely loved "You Don't Own Me" last night. She's now back up to 2nd in the betting odds - but I think she's going to walk it.

Loved both her performances last night. My personal favourite is still her "Take Me Home" one at judges houses which didn't get as much recognition as some of the others.

Thought she was amazing on both songs especially the first. Styling on second was horrendous. But I think she will be in trouble because it just feels they are pushing everyone but her! Simon' comments after her stunning vocal on Firestone were ridulous. Her voice was clear as crystal. Stunning!

She was the strongest last night but didn't receive the feedback that she deserved from the judges. I hope she makes it through regardless.

I thought Firestone was the best performance of the night. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2Fb8ZBH1ks

It'll be a travesty if she goes tonight. TRAVESTY, I TELLS YA!
