Molly - a tribute
Today my lovely Molly went to join 'Ceiling Cat' - after a few difficult days our lovely kind vet sent her peacefully on her way this evening. She was 16 we think, her birthdate being lost when she was abandoned, ten years ago.
Molly was a good cat - in her younger days she brought us presents, mice, birds and, as a house cat for the last eight years, the occasional moth. When she was 8 she broke her back, but she got through and, although she limped and was generally averse to the litter tray, she never ceased to entertain. She was the funniest of all the cats I have ever owned - and I am glad that I spent today with her in the garden, both of us wrapped in fleeces, as we watched the birds and next door's tabby. Thanks Molly, you were precious and both your Mums, 'chicken grandma' and your little 'brother' will miss you. Edit - I just noticed the stick thread - apologies and I will move this there.

RIP Molly - my sympathies, Jes. I know how hard it is to lose a much loved pet. But at least you know she had a loving home for the last 10 years.
