Ooooh, Sons and Daughters was a good one. I liked that we had a different closing, sepia shot each episode.

We just crossed!

I quite liked the photographic album feel of the opening and closing credits.

A Bouquet of Barbed Wire reminded me of MacKenzie which had all the characters on playing cards and them built into a pyramid until it all fell down. What was also good was that they changed the photos as the characters aged due to the series taking place over about 25 years.

Not really sure if it counts as a Soap though as it was a one off series.

I'll add that vote in! Liked all of the titles but really enjoyed the 97-00 blue era.

I also liked Home and Away 2000-03 and 2004-06. Also Family Affairs 98-99 the one with the cast walking in.

Coronation Street 1975 titles. The only thing missing is the cat.

Going back a bit, but I used to love The Young Doctors for the groovy 70s theme...

The Sullivans gathering for their family picture, even after a lot of the family had left the cast...

Take the High Road, with the swooping shots of the Scottish highlands...

80s glam Gems, with the model popping out of the old lift at Covent Garden tube...

I know they were basic because of the time, but I have fond memories of the wonkey Crossroads intro and also the end credits. Happy days.

Hated 2000-03. 2004-06 were good though.

Emmerdale although the older ones are better the current one is still good enough. It reminds me a lot of the Village I live in.

Dallas without a doubt. I ADORE the opening titles and I'm so bitter that it has been axed again

THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST HEARBREAKING OPENING TITLES https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=klbetjyK0oE

I was also devestated about them axing dallas again, but sadly they moved too far away from what it was all about. I do however enjoy the original series still, and watch when I get the chance.

I liked them too. Although, I feel that they could've given Beryl, Gordon, Wayne and David a new picture after about 2 years, a bit like the did with Fiona. Would've liked to have seen Patricia getting a new picture too as I never felt that the pic of her in the titles really looked like her.

Are you talking about the original style of titles - Black with a coloured bit? I always used to note the different colours the characters got in the titles.

Emmerdale's 2005 to 2011 opening titles will always be my favourite soap titles, they were so grand and fitted the soap amazingly, I detest the current opening titles, they're just cheap and tacky.
I also loved the Bill's opening titles from 2007 to 2009, they were pretty good.
