Only £220k for a city centre 3 bed... would seriously make me consider quitting London.

Not sure about the view of the back of Eileen's house though. I don't wanna see 2 grown men bunking in with their mam every time I close me curtains.

Blimy! I thought £1300 per year on ground rent and services charges was bad enough!

You've found the catch!

Plus the view and being so high up! The flat itself is still a bargain though!

You'd be able to smell the alcohol on Rita's breath from the balcony.

What's the service charge for?

Damn that is expensive as hell. Not even accounting for the fact that the pound is worth way more than the dollar, 220k could get you a huge house in the suburbs here in Cleveland. I couldn't imagine paying that much for an apartment.

It's not in the City Centre though, It's effectively on an Industrial Estate two miles from Manchester City Centre, with a Tram service that takes the worlds most convaluted route possible.

As a lifelong Salfordian I think Media City is over-rated.

If you pull out a bit on the map showing the flat you can also find the local sewage works and abandoned Weaste cemetary

Am I the only one that thinks the layout of the flat (the floorplan) is quite terrible? One bedroom is tiny (I know you often do get a small one) and the other is such a weird shape you won't get much more than a bed in. I would have the living space using that curved wall, use the current living room as a bedroom, keep bedroom 1 where it is but have that as the second bedroom, and the first main bedroom would have the balcony. Just not sure where i'd put the 3rd bedroom
I would have to re-draw it all to work it all out, but I just think its an odd layout, that curved wall lends itself to the main room, not to create a weird shape bedroom.

Nice location though, i've visited the area and it is nice. Close enough to the city without as much noise etc.
