Just going by what i've seen on both the show and what the other contestants and the judges themselves have said.

Both Mason and Simon have said that they have sorted their differences out privately and Mason publicly apolygised to Cheryl on Sundays show and like Cheryl said herself on Breakfast TV yesterday that took guts and she accepted it.

Never mind, i seem to be the only one with kids on here who taught them that throwing a tantrum would'nt lead to a reward.

The apology to Cheryl had nothing to do with the X Factor incident but was a seperate issue.

He's being "rewarded" because many think he's a talented guy.

Here's an article that shows what was said on The Xtra Factor

Nick Grimshaw has defended his controversial choice to put Mason Noise into the X Factor 2015 live shows.

Tonight we saw Nick pick his final three guys with Mason making it into the top 12 contestants alongside Seann Miley Moore and Che Chesterman.

It's after Mason was invited back to the show for judges' houses, following Tom Bleasby's decision to quit, despite rowing with Simon Cowell and storming off stage during the six chair challenge.

In the live reveal tonight, Mason faced boos when Nick called out his name but Nick isn't worried.

The Radio 1 DJ said: "I think that successful artists are always polarising. They're always going to get it.

"People like Kanye, Justin Bieber, it's part of it, he'll learn to deal with it."

Nick insisted: "He's so talented. I don't think everybody knows him yet, everyone who has met him has said he's such a nice guy. He'll win you over, I promise."

Simon, despite having branded Mason an "a**ehole" at six chairs, agreed with Nick.

He said: "I felt for the contestants tonight, this was a tough thing to do but everyone made their decision for the right reason. I got to see Mason after [six chairs].

"We all make silly mistakes in our lives, he's been very cool with the other contestants and he deserves to be there."

Mason himself added after making it into the live shows: "I expect it, I did something which a lot of people disagree with. I brought this on myself, now I'm in the lives I've got to prove that there is a different side to me."

Talent and X Factor should never be mentioned in the same sentence. There's a million out there that can do good karaoke, not exactly talent though is it? My local on a thursday night open mic has far more talent than these desperate wannabes.

Yes, get over yourself. Many of us have kids, and taught them to do as they're told. This doesn't apply here - it's a talent show, and talent means more than good manners in this case.

Otherwise, we would be picking people on their behaviour, instead of their musical talent, right?

Well then, stick to watching the talent in your local and don't watch the XF if you find it's not up to your standard talent-wise.

Go to your boring open mic then, many of the people on X Factor have genuine chance of recording careers and can also sing very well.

Er, No it's posters expressing an opinion and nobody is saying you cannot have an opinion. Now, there is no need to be rude and antagonistic just because others don't share your opinions.

My five free app votes will all be going to Mason.

And I'm a middle aged guy.

I love him.

Mason is just an arrogant tosser who was told to apologise by X-Factor. Its a forced apology not a real one. Just see what happens if he gets any negative comments in the live shows. It'll be toys out the pram again!

Rude and unnecessary!

I'll be sending my free votes Mason's way; I really like him.

I'll be voting for Mason, he has real talent.

If he was my son I'd be very proud of him

Mason haters are so pressed. Its the usual crowd looking for a dramatic villain figure every year (in a singing competition). The thing is that Mason is actually extremely talented and the industry is thirsty for acts like him right now. Mason needs to go far in the comp this year if its actually about The X Factor.

me.im voting for him.his treatment by rent a mob was disgusting.hes super talented.id put him with timberlake in terms of talent but his dislikers will ignore that and choose to vote for the usual vacuous rubbish.

The only thing Mason didn't do was the chair challenge. He did EVERYTHING else the others did.

He did what he did for a reason. The way they edit the show IS unfair sometimes.

I would much rather watch Mason, than that guy with the ball and chain.

The 5 free votes on the XF app will presumably be brought back this year so you could still vote.

I've personally loved him from his first (albeit brief) audition. When I read he walked off during 6CC I was really disappointed because he's something original for the Boys category which is usually devoid of originality and personality so I'm glad he's been reinstated. That said, I'm backing Seann, 4th Impact and Alien more so he'll have to do something big for me to vote for him.
