Couldn't disagree more with the OP.

ROFL!!! Well when you put it like that ....

Who's a terrible actor. Someone who's a character player in there 60s taking on the role of a cross dresser, ok he's not Brad, but who is, just some people we want to believe in and some we don't and that's individual, are you sure that it's just not Les you don't like?”
Great post.

I agree with this too. I never thought Kathy's return would be a B list storyline for me and I'd be much more interested iin the Cokers - but I am

Spot on. I think he's been told to play Les as a loud, OTT person so the difference between him and Christine really stands out. But look at Les last night when he was telling Paul about his dad? A much more stripped back performance which made it much more effective, he was talking from the heart and it showed. I think Roger Sloman's really good and total respect to him for how good he was playing Christine, not many actors could pull that off without it becoming a joke (which I think many people thought it would be as you'd never have thought he'd make a convincing woman!)

I disagree too. He's pulled off some of the hardest scenes in EastEnders for a while just lately.”
Yes, not a lot he can do about his voice but I think it's very distinctive.
