Good post, I agree, be a really boring programme if it was just the desperate to win brigade. Jeremy is great, he will be there for a few more weeks yet.

I'd be over the moon with a Jay, Anita and Jeremy final so no, i don't think Jeremy has to go.

Not that i think the above will happen sadly

And me ducky lucky. He is enjoying himself and has a large fan base. He smiles and he and Karen are good together. Long may he last.

Jeremy is what Strictly is all about, it would be boring if everyone dances as well as Jay.”

But wouldn't it be boring if everyone was of Jeremy's standard?

They need to have a good balance, I think this year has a good balance.

I think Jeremy does need to go, but I think he has another week left.

I think 2 of 3 (and I think you know which 2. ) of your predictions may be right.

Oh, my dream final! Comedy and good spirits plus good dancing. Sadly I agree, won't happen.

I'd love for him to stay longer than Peter, just for the legit melt downs James Jordan would have.

I enjoy him and Karen more than many other couples. I don't get how some people have had the nerve to contact him and tell him to quit the show. His response was perfect, though.

Oh no Jeremy must stay. Fair enough he's not as good as most of the celebs but he is showing signs of improvement & he tries so hard plus he's hugely entertaining.

For those who haven't seen his response yet, here's the link ...

Now that is a real gentleman

I can understand why people think he should go, but to actually message him is disgraceful. It saddens me that hes obviously pondered on that awful original message (and maybe other worse ones) and thought carefully about his response.

What a lovely video though. It reminds me of how Will Young responded to Simon Cowell all those years ago.

Floor your detractors with a genuine, intelligent and polite reply and you leave them not only with nowhere to go but looking pretty stupid too

I love Jeremy. He is so endearing. It's evident he is putting the hours in and working so hard to improve and I think he is, albeit slowly. I so want him to do well each week, whereas I couldn't really care much for the others. Watching the beginners improving is so much more interesting than seeing the likes of Jay, Kellie and Peter pull out the same each week. I really hope he come's out this week and does a a great dance to prove his doubters wrong.

He makes me laugh and entertains me. People who can go before him who bore me rigid: Carol, Kirsty, Jamelia, Kellie, Peter & Georgia - I mentally switch off when they step foot on the floor! The only thing that entertains me about Anita is Gleb.

Fair play to Jeremy for the polite response, he's not the greatest dancer and I think he knows that but he still puts in the hard work and gets up there every week and does whatever routine is given to him.

I cannot warm to Kellie (it may be the link with Eastenders which I hate) and think that Carol, Kirsty and stomping Peter all can go before Jeremy for me”

So you don't like Kellie because she is linked to Eastenders? This is not Big Brother. It's not a personality contest. She is a great dancer and thus she should have at least some of your support.

I hate the word "should" - it's so parental.
Personalities DO come into it, whether you like that or not.
I don't like her accent, I don't like her screaming and I don't like her because I don't like all the cockernies (sic) that are in Eastenders as I'm sure that many southerners dislike northerners without knowing them.

I decide who to support and won't be told by anyone who "should" have it

I always look forward to watching Jeremy, and Jay, Anita and Kellie. The rest can go home as far as I'm concerned. I'll do my part in trying to keep these 4 as long as possible.

He is a turkey that needs not wait until Christmas in my view. I find his persona on the show and on his radio show arrogant and smug and his dancing is a joke, in a very unfunny way
