I've only seen their first episode (Mondays c4 I think) and I hate them. Appalling actors - especially the daughter & youngest son.
Why the heck did they create a whole back story regarding the pub and the father?! Really pointless because we're not going to like him anymore. |

I can't stand the daughter and youngest son but the dad, step mum and older brother are ok.

They just remind of a Hollyoaks version of The Carter family in EastEnders.

I don't like what Ellie is doing in trying to sabotage Mac's relationship with Neeta. Never mind in this context whether Mac is supposed to be married to Cindy.
Ellie and Rachel look similar apart from hair colour. Ellie has so far reminded me of Daisy from The Dukes of Hazzard! |

I love them all, especially Ellie, Neeta and Nathan, not so keen on Rachel. Plus Ellie's pretty fit

They're basically a reincarnation of the Costellos from a few years ago.
They didn't last long either... |

No one should be that bad in their first episodes shaky yeah, but certainly not like the lovedays who were strong from word go, its like they grabbed this lot from a catwalk and shoved them on set. Ellie was ok in places but her enterance was terrible and reminded me so much of Liberty Savage's scenes, but Neeta was a bit ehhhh in the latest e4 and Rachel seems interesting - obviously Mac is good, the actor is a pro! I do think they seem good additions and some of the most awkward actors went on to be my favourites (Texas, Dodger, Leanne, Jem)

I don't really like any of them so far. Hopefully that will change.

As I said in another thread, Diet Costellos. I liked most of the Costellos but this seems like a tenth rate copy. Not impressed at all so far, especially by the acting.

I don't like them so far. The only one who has potential is the fiancée of the older son.
They could improve. People hate The costellos but they were the reason Silas was brought in and wasn't mitzee connected to them too? She was great which also led to the intro of Maxine who is brilliant so we should reserve judgement for now. |

I thought it was hilarious that they had Tony saying he was at school with Mac. In real life there is a 15 year age gap between the two actors.

Alfie is awful and screams of a poor attempt to appeal to younger viewers. Ellie basically comes across as a slightly less stupid Theresa. Mac is OK but I hate how the whole backstory of the pub etc. now revolves around him. Neeta doesn't feel like a character - more like something that's being packaged and sold to the viewers (sexy domestic goddess y'all!) No opinion on the other two, they're just kind of there

People hated the Costellos? I actually thought they were a pretty decent family with believable dynamics.
No real opinion on the Nightingales yet. |

Cindy's ex is great but the rest of them are awful. The acting is dreadful. I agree that they've been hired for their looks and less for their acting skills. They don't seem to fit in to be honest. I know it's very early days and they might fit in along the way but on first impressions no I'm really not keen.

BIB -All relative I suppose but me and my partner both never liked the Lovedays from the word go to be honest, we still find them a little boring even now Back to the topic in hand: too early to judge really but Mac is ok (other than the stupid way they had shoved the whole dog in the pond was his story - still waiting for him to admit he made it up) the rest of them are so far bit dull and waiting for something to happen with them...tho I will be honest, not liking the youngest one who's obviously trying to be a hipster, just find him irritating |

Mac is good.
Ellie and Rachel(the fiance, is that her name) have potential I think... The rest are rubbish and Neeta seems really bad! :S |

The daughter is an awful actress. Makes Liberty Savage look like Judi Dench... The two boys just remind me of another Seth and Riley (awkward younger brother and attractive older brother) no real personalities there at all. The other fiance all ive seen is her in a towel and the wife seems ok. I don't see them as being as bad as the Sharpes but they certainly won't be as longstanding as the O'Connors/Hunters based on their first few episodes.

I think they need a lot longer before threads like these start appearing!
