I like Mac but the rest of them are awful - I don't find any of them attractive, male or female, except Neeta she is very pretty but a complete airhead and so dozy - which is probably meant to be endearing but so far is just annoying.

Why does that matter?
Not liking the Dad, there's something about him. Whether that's to do with the actor or character, I don't know.
To be fair to the costellos, that hollyoaks later where warren made Seth believe he murdered a girl was really fantastic acting, the guy who played Seth nailed it then!
I like Nathan and Rachel, and Mac the most at the minute, Ellie needs to be a bit more 3D but I'm sure that'll come in time

I remember this, it was brilliant! I had soft spot for Seth, my OH was bit jealous, lol

Very true. They're just like the Costellos. I had to laugh when the dad said something to the older son about him going to college - he looks about 35! That reminded me of Riley Costello he was meant to be in his late teens but comfortably looked a decade older.
Mac, Rachel and Nathan from first impressions seem to have the most potential.
I would say out of the younger lot, Rachel was the best of the crop.
Ellie's acting well I wasn't impressed but maybe she settle and Neeta I don't even know what them scenes was cause that was just awful acting it made Freddie look good, Alfie is typical geeky awkard younger brother, seen the same time and again.

I absolutely loved the Costellos so I'm liking the Nightingales so far.
But I fear that they're gonna force so insipid "DARK!!!1111" backstory to make them seem a little bit more interesting. I mean, that worked with the Lovedays but that was because the storyline was done well for a change and was given the attention and thought it deserved.
The acting is not great but veryfew newcomers in Hollyoaks start off good.

Alfie looks scarily like Will, maybe that is the identikit for the awkward, and possibly psycho, younger brother.
Essentially the family are a ticking time bomb ready to be exploded and scattered to the various residences of HO. Oh and how long will it be before one of the other cast move into the pub with them? These family units are only introduced in order to be destroyed.

They didn't offend me on first sight but this story with Cindy seems to be rather unnecessary.
Also we just know as always they'll come and they go and Jack will end up back in the pub again. They'll probably be a fire too - must be at least six months since it last burnt down.
