They are always good at interesting and beautiful camera work, they have some brilliant directors working with them.
Remember their big helicopter week, those episodes had some of the best camera work i've ever seen in a soap.

Tonights ep with the bridge shots was brilliant.

I Remember when Debbie's house got raided by the police when Cameron was holding her hostage, they had a great high shot and was just simply beauty.

Then as you say the Helicoptor crash, with the wide shots filmed using a drone.

and the bridge shots, is what i was referring too, was just beautiful, pefect location, the end shot with ross walking away was amazing, also think was filmed with a drone? but may be wrong??

Nice camerawork, shame about the plot.

I love what the camera is doing, can we please do it without the actors? 😊

Emmerdale is certainly the best at this - They really know how to utilise the space around them.

It was fantastic directing. Shame about how dreadful the story is.

It did look lovely. I wonder who did it? There was a shot the other day of Ross staggering off across a field that was very good as well.

Shame he didn't fall into a muddy puddle and die face down in the cowmuck though.

I agree. I think it's because they have the best location. If EE or CS tried to do shots like that they wouldn't be as good because all you'd be able to see is buildings.

It was a great episode. The camera work was indeed brilliant. Fair play to the actor playing Pete being filmed hung upside down. There's no way I'd want to do that especially if it took a few takes. I also liked the storyline and yes I loved Ross too ♥

I agree with the comments. The setting is one of ED's biggest assets and it's great when they do shots like last night's.

It helps being set where it is. Beautiful countryside. I know I live there.

They've all been on location though.
