If Martin isn't the father of the baby as hinted at in the spoilers who is? Obviously it points to Kush, but how long after splitting up from Dean did it take her to announce her pregnancy? Also what's everyone's thoughts on this storyline and the impact it would have on Stacey's character? After they somewhat redeemed her for Archies murder it would damage her character if it turns out to be Kush's.

I also wanted to add that it would be silly for Stacey to try to pass off a baby with Arab/Asian descent as a Caucasian fathers child, unless its actually Deans?

Key is period of time in which conception could have occurred (last menstruation sets the interval of possibility). plus or minus two weeks or longer?

How far along is she?

When Shabnam found out she was pregnant she was 5 months gone end of June, Stacey was presumably only a couple of weeks when she found out in July, Shabnam still birth was end of August and she was near 8 months, so Stacey's around 5 months herself I think now.

She broke up with Dean after she found out about Linda's rape and that was xmas time last year so I think it can rule him out, she just wouldn't go near him knowing what he done.

I would be so put off if this just turns out to be Kush, I don't think it necessary to have a who the daddy plot, especially as it feels it distasteful with how well handled the still birth episode, then to throw this into the mix.

I don't think it'd necessary be that obvious that the baby is Kush's. He's only half Iranian himself so the baby would be 3/4 Caucasian.

Unfortunately I think Martin is the father of Stacey's baby. The Fowlers need to be built up and they need new Fowler relatives.

Well, Kush hasn't been acting weird around Stacey and didn't seem worried when he found out that she was pregnant so I don't think it's his.

That's what I've always thought. I used to think it'd turn out to be Kush's baby but that was before Zaair died, I'd hate TPTB to do that after doing the stillbirth storyline so well. My guess now is that the permanently horny Max is the Daddy.

I loved the chemistry between them when he said goodbye. And I love Stacey and Lauren scenes. I'm going to be so disappointed if it doesn't happen now. To think I used to loath Max.

This is the part I wouldn't understand if it is Kush's kid or even has the possibility of being his kid for that matter. I'd love for Max to be the dad.
