too little range in store
Find myself copying what I see on TV and friends.
Always catching up with trends never with them.

Think of famous people you admire and follow them on Instagram/pinintrest and see what they wear.
Or find a fashion blog you like and follow that.

Lots and lots of nice stuff on Pinterest but I still have to "find" the cloths as there is not always links to the retailers that actually sell the cloths.

Look and Grazia are both good magazines for predicting trends before they hit the high street.

Hi there, try checking out the Vogue website and looking at the catwalk shows for specifics seasons. You probably won't be buying the actual stuff (or want to!) but they tell you the key looks for each season.

I do like Grazia but rarely buy have rarely have time to read-normally only in airports tbh.

When I see pictures from catwalks ( London fashion week probably the most recent) I find it difficult to relate/see me in there cloths. I need to see someone with my shape wearing something to visualize it on me. That is why I find it easier to copy.

Just keep wearing the Halloween make-up and do your best to develop anorexia. Then, simply mix and match a few charity shop clothes with fancy dress costumes and hey-presto – you have acquired the fashionable catwalk look with minimal expenditure.

It's easier to find out what isn't in fashion and work from there

I don't buy fashion magazines anymore. I used to spend a fortune on them.

Nowadays I buy things I like the look of and mix and match them with things I have at home. Just brought some well nice black skinny jeans and teamed them up with a short sleeved whit top yesterday. and I was complimented.

Firstly, it's worth pointing out that catwalk fashion is theatrical. What might look great on a catwalk would look ridiculous in day-to-day life.

Shape will play a part in what looks good on you; a lot of the clothes you see in the high street will be for a particular build. A jumpsuit looks great on a tall person but on a short person it would emphasise their shortness and would swamp them.

The best kind of clothes to wear are the ones that look great on you. That's what makes people want to copy others, because they envy the confidence that you have in wearing something that really suits you.
