He plateaued. He could have improved his technique with another pro; all his dances look more or less the same. Same thing happened with Jake last year and the common dominator is Janette. Potential Contenders are wasted on her imo. Craig is only telling the truth and yes I agree that perhaps he should refrain from speaking about contestants who are still competing but then again he has always done it in the past. ..shrug.....
Agree with everything you have just said 😀

The Abomination that is Andre still has two cards to play and I'm pretty sure we will get one of them on Saturday.

Its either the kids in the VT or he'll be crying.

Look out to see which one will be pulled this week.
That will be coming soon I agree 😐

The producers have wanted Peter to win from day one and he's not as popular as they thought he'd be, their desperate for Jay not to win.

Don't know where you get that from.

Possibly based on him being most often late in the running order. Obvious faults never picked up on and his promotion via the SCD FB/Twitter feeds. The same seems to be happening with Helen but with less skirting round her weaknesses.

Are you talking about Jay?

Either I have misread or you have.

Jay has only been part of the promotion since that Jive.

Anita & Georgia are the ones being somewhat sidelined with more frequent appearances in the early part of the show.

DiamondDoll's question was actually about the second half of the sentence (Jay, not Peter). Personally I don't think the producers care who wins. They care about making the viewer feel as positive as possible by scheduling a good or popular performer towards the end.

I'm with you on that.

Whatever the reality programme is, there are ALWAYS accusations of bias.

Thanks for 'getting' my point too.

Was basing my responses on the Thread title, rather than digressions.

Let's just call it a misunderstanding and we can kiss and make-up. xx

Perhaps Peter is caught in a double bind? People who actually know him seem to see him as genuine but his media whore, teak-stained persona makes one take everything he says with a massive pinch of salt. I'm not sure how he can get out of the pit he has dug for himself.

I guess rather than endlessly going on about how much he values the judges' opinions but doing the same thing over and over again, he might actually act on their opinions and demonstrate that he has understood what they are getting at.

Peter tries very hard... hes good but like the judges said he has to try something new to catch the voters attention... wish him luck though.

I agree that perhaps judges should not comment on contestants in interviews (although this may well have been taken out of context) but I do agree. Peter is still a bit of an also-ran - OK, but not improving.
Agree

Actually, Craig is the only judge who really tells the truth imo. I think he does want people to improve.

Peter isn't improving and really should up his game.

After tonight, Craig still hasn't given any celeb overall more than he's given Peter, and of all four judges he's the one who's favoured Peter the most. Again, if he wants us to see Peter as a disappointment he might want to tell his scoring paddles, because otherwise it makes the show's storylining look really haphazard.
