I didn't mind Russell Grant so much when he was an actual contestant - but now he's seeming to think himself Lord of the Dance on ITT, he's creeping up the ranking.

First will always be Widdy. The fact that she was so arrogant and annoying actually on the show was a bonus

I've had plenty of them irritate me over the years but only one to an extent that i literally couldn't bare to watch her and FF'd everything after about week 2.

Lulu

Sadly i find that Carol has now joined her and i'm skipping every sight of her on screen. She's not as obnoxious as Lulu but she reeks of insincerity

I would never include the likes of Widdy when considering a question like this though because she didn't "get on my nerves". I merely loathed her with a passion.

I know - but I can't see a thread like this and not crack eventually

What fun!

There's a stand out candidate for me......the hideously over the top Susanna (ME ME ME) Reid.

There's more but they come nowhere near that woman and I don't want to distract from her.

That's reasonable. And to be fair, there isn't a thread that says "Strictly celebrities that have got on your nerves and made you want to hire a sniper" so...

No one has annoyed me on this show more than Judy Murray purely for how long she stayed on the show she was a poor contestant and I did not even find her funny. May I state that I buy clothing designed by Julian McDonald from Debenhams, they also have some of his jewellery designs on QVC (partly because he is a good designer and partly because I am very smaller and he does not oversize his garmets like may designers and stores these days).

Forgot to mention that Julian was on QVC selling some of his clothing the other week as well.

Anne Widdicombe, Lisa Riley (not because of her weight) because she really was a bad gobby dancer and was always favoured and over marked. Jerry Hall (lazy) thought she would escape criticism because of who she was and Scott Mills and yet I really enjoy his radio shows.

Some celebs do themselves no favours , yes I'm referring to you Lulu and Felicity Kendall but the one who made me really angry and uncomfortable was Dominic Littlewood,I cannot watch him on TV now. Poor Lillia. I'm sure Aliona's reaction to Greg last year was because she feared history repeating itself.

Lisa actually has an enormous following.
That's no way to talk about her derrière.

Natalie Cassidy; too earnest to be true.

Dominic Littlewood; ugh. I didn't like him before, during, or after, he did Strictly. Poor Lilia.

Susanna Reid just came across as self -obsessed and gurn-ey.

Because they still haven't gone away; Alison Hammond and, Lisa Riley (who was consistently over-marked too).

Louis Smith was too arrogant for me.

Exactly....
As for most irritating and smug - Chris Hollins....you'd think winning Strictly was the ONLY thing he'd ever done in his life - I mean I know he's not exactly A list, but does he have to mention it EVERY time he's in front of a camera? I wouldn't mind so much if he could actually dance, but he won by 'swimming' across the floor!

I did think that this series was one where no-one irritated me, but I am getting that way with Kellie Bright and, to a certain extent her partner. I wish they would sit still for a minute or two!

Russell Grant and Lisa Riley for still hanging around SCD like a bad smell. Why?

They are the only two from other series that continue to irritate.

I've said this on another thread and although it's akin to 'kicking Bambi' I am finding Carol's 'niceness' a bit cloying and irritating.

Abbey Clancy ( her personality got on my nerves, but she was a good dancer)

Julien McDonald, and Christine Bleakly (though I warmed to the latter eventually). Edwina Currie a bit maybe, which was odd as I normally don't mind her outside of SCD.

Never hated Louis Smith, but he did bore me to tears!

I generally enjoy Strictly so much, that I don't care who's on it!

This year Kellie , to the point of muting the teli when she is on . Her partner is not helping at all . They are like two kids who were given too many sweets .

Previously
Dom Littlewood ( awful man , poor Lillia)
Jason Donovan
Anne Wiiddecome ( ghastly woman )
Julian Mc Donald . ( too childish )
Lisa Riley ( i still turn off the teli if I spy her )
Greg Wallace
And by no means least
Russel Grant

Edwina Currie a bit maybe
How can we be forgetting Edwina "I'm a cougar" Currie? I've never seen a man more terrified than Vincent on that year, genuine fear in his eyes. I just wanted to rescue him, make him some cheese on toast and give him a cuddle.

Please can someone enlighten me about Dom and Lilia. I didn't see this series but I'm intrigued as to why so many people mention his behaviour

He seemed to think that because it was OK for him to be able to touch bits of Lilia as part of a dance, it was OK to touch bits of Lilia outside of the dance.
