You're Fired Audience
I've got tickets for You're Fired this year for the first time, and just have a few questions for anyone who has gone before.
Mainly, do they show you the full main show before they start filming. I thought they might show an edited down version instead to save time, but this would kinda spoil the show. Also is it actually enjoyable to watch, or does it get boring. Thanks, Robbie |

I've been in the YF audience 7 times altogether (4 last year)
They show you the entire show on tv screens positioned around the studio, it is always a really good atmosphere with everyone cracking up laughing at the stupid mistakes the candidates make ![]() I don't usually get bored during the filming of YF, though it does depend a bit on the panel. Most panelists are very pleasant and entertaining to watch. However, I found Ruby Wax very annoying when she was a panelist, she was acting almost like she was drunk and at one point she spilled a drink all over the table and it had to be cleaned up. The filming of YF usually takes about an hour, but will be slightly longer if there is a double firing. A word of warning, if you don't have priority tickets, try to get there quite early. I was supposed to be at this weeks YF but our group didn't get in the queue till 5.30 so we didn't get in (along with a bunch of other people.) Try to get there at 5 or earlier. |

Do they swear you to secrecy or what? Presumably it's not live...?

People have sometimes still posted the result on twitter though. |

I've been twice, including the 2013 final, and I've gotten in both times, and that was at Riverside Studios, I think we got there early but I cant remember how early, but we got in.
They ask you, very nicely, to just not tell anyone who got fired. They can't physically stop you, but it would be a pretty lame person to come on here and post a thread up saying who goes. It's a nice bit of power you have over everyone else that you know and they don't. |

Thanks, I was actually meant to go on Monday as well but had the same problem as you despite joining the queue at 5.15. Have you had an email about priority tickets yet, they said they would email on Tuesday but i haven't heard anything.
