My favourites are Series 3 and 5. Series 3 was the first time I voted (for Ray) so took more interest than the previous two. Enjoyed Series 5 as I voted for JLS and it was great to see them reach the final two

I don't know how people can remember the series by number, or even by year for that matter! I can best remember the series by contestants, so....
Impossible to rank all, but my favourite series were the years in which my favourite acts won - Leona Lewis, Matt Cardle & Ben Haenow.
Worst by far was the year James Arthur won, as it was the only year I didn't like anyone enough to even vote for them.

I've watched all of them but for the life of me I couldn't remember which series was which! But the 3 best for me was the one with Rhydian in as he's IMHO the best singer ever to be on the show. Then the one with JLS and also the series with Jahmene and James Arthur.
I've watched them all but I can't really remember them by their number either (I probably could, if I bothered to work them out!) but Alexandra Burke's year was the strongest by a mile. Also loved Leona and Joe McElderry's years - although I didn't love the outcome of the latter - but X Factor still had its magic then. Little Mix's holds a place in my heart too purely for the excitement of having a (girl) group win.

Sam Bailey's (2013) was by far the worst year. Sam was the only good performer that year but let's be honest she was very much an ordinary mum rather than a superstar in waiting. That Luke guy came third and he couldn't sing at all really. Just had teen appeal.
