Looks like he's going in the direction he wanted, so good for him. Not often you see genuine life success from housemates, whatever people think about the Tories.

He certainly.has the Tory formula of effortless slime

Yet another reason to hate the Tories.

Another career politician to tell us that we aren't working hard enough. Just what we needed.

Liked him in BB but, hope he doesn't get elected!

Not a fan of the Tories but it's a big achievement for someone of just 19 years old. I know Glyn from BB7 has been selected to stand for Plaid Cymru but he's 27.

Mhairi Black was elected as SNP MP for Paisley and Renfrewshire South at the General Election when she was only 20

Joel was a fantastic HM.

It's good he has his head screwed on at 19.

He's actually up against Glyn as they are both standing for the same constituency

Haha, just look at the kip on the smug, pompous little shite - trying to look all Churchillian and important whilst stood in a wheelie bin.

Despite being a lot older than Joel, Glyn certainly has a younger vibe. It always amazes me how the young Tories have 20 something year old bodies but 50 something year old personas.

joel was my favourite housemate last year but as a staunch socialist, him being a tory has always annoyed me.

Has he worked out if waterboarding and/or other forms of torture are acceptable yet?

I think it's interesting that they're going to be standing for the same constituency, when coincidentally, Glyn went up to him in the freeze task and told him to support Plaid Cymru and not the Tories.

when i started this thread i didnt know glyn would be a candidate to.him and joel do share a few things in common, both welsh, both second, both hounded by gay HMs who left the BB house without being voted out. and probably both gay

Chloe seemed more straightforward to me wheras Joel with the fact that he's quite complicated killed it for me to like him.
