The guy who sounds (and looks a bit like) like the policeman on Doc Martin.

Bold headed guy lost them the Ballons, the Ballons were the main attraction, he should have gone

Selina for me, loved Ruth

Brett, his attitude cost the team a couple of sales including Balloons which the other team made over £1,000 on & that was the difference, very lucky not to be in the final boardroom

It should have been a double firing with the two women in the boardroom.

I would keep Brett as it would be fun to give him increasingly more humiliating things to do as we know he will do it to the letter. Like a robot.

Brett is, generally as it stands, robotic, but Selina's lack of effort lost the task.

Although I liked Ruth a lot and was rooting for her, it's pretty hard to disagree with the decision when she literally sold nothing.

Would have done a double of Selina and Ruth. Ruth didn't sell and Selina is very sour-faced.

As there was one person who went, I think it had to be Ruth as she failed in something she needed to excel in. Selina defended herself better in boardroom I think however she is a nasty character and maybe got lucky with the sale she made however as it was over £600, it was a significant contribution to the overall result.

Sugar should have got rid of Selina as well whilst he had the chance.

I think there's a decent case for all of them being fired.

Ruth for not selling and seemingly putting off quite a few potential customers with her in your face style of sales.

Selina for not doing much other than standing around yawning.

Scott for not being assertive enough ie he knew Ruth was struggling big time but rather than move her off the high end items he kept her there anyway, even though she was clearly having a terrible day.

I do think it was the correct decision for Ruth to go though, I think Selina should have gone with her too as she really doesn't do much and seems to be a problem rather than an asset to any team she is on.

I'm usually someone who agrees with Lord Sugar's decision, basically because it's his show so he can do what he likes.
However, knowing that the only reason Selina got her sale was because of Scott, it kind of put Ruth and Selina on the same level in terms of performance in the task. But then if you take into account the general attitude, Ruth seems to be pleasant company while Selina is moody and easily gives up.

Therefore I would have fired Selina, or at least not sent Ruth away on her own.
Also knowing about this weird drama between Selina and Charleine, if that physical encounter has happened and Selina got a warning, then she really should have gone.
I presume she's being kept around for drama.

I would like to have voted for both.

Selina without a doubt - in my opinion, she's one of the least likeable candidates to hit our screens yet. Acting like a spoilt child both on and off camera (go check her twitter and you'll see her slagging off the Apprentice relentlessly because they dared to air her comment about her dancing background), constantly getting into b*tch fights with Charleine etc. and I really feel like Ruth absolutely nailed it when she said once Selina had that one sale, she checked out. And I think Claude was quite right in pointing out even that sale should have been more attributed to Scott than Selina.

You know what? For her "No more Mrs. Nice Girl" back at the house alone I would have handed over my entire wallet for Lord Sugar if he had just come in right then and there and fired her on the spot, that comment showed some serious self-awareness issues seeing as she's been the most difficult, stuck-up candidate this entire series.

Sam or Mergim for being wastes of space.

Out of the three in the BR I was thinking it might be a double firing, with Ruth and Selina both going.

I really want to see Mergim in action, not because I believe he could be good, but because I know he's our poor man's Baggs of this series. His few moments of glory where he called out his team in task 1 for not volunteering for PM when he didn't himself, definitely hinted that when (if) his PM time comes around, it'll be a car crash like no other this series.

As for tonight, I agree I thought a double firing was inbound, especially with Karen's whole "To be honest Claude, I wouldn't hire either of them" retort.

I liked Ruth but I'd have fired both her and Selina.

As others have said, Brett got away with that one.

I think Ruth could have been given "one more chance" to learn from her experience at the Pet Show - at least she had been active. I didn't agree that Selena should be given "one more chance" when she has failed to try much.
