Seems like only 5 candidates have won every task. It's early days, but Sam, David, Mergim, Richard and Sam.

The girls have fallen apart in general. Versatile have won 4 times in a row, and the girls have only won in the two instances where they were mixed and in Versatile. The boys who were swapped into Connexus in one of the two times (Brett, Gary, Joseph and Scott) all had lost.

So, if we assume that the 5 who have been in the winning team all 4 times have a better shot. Who do you reckon could go far? I think Mergim is out of the question, pretty sure an invisible edit means they don't go very far. I think David could make the final. Him and Richard have both been project managers and have won all their tasks.

Sam and Mergim are dead weight, I think it's safe to say they've done nothing of note (other than some of Mergim's comments making him look dumber than a sack of hammers) so I don't think their "streak" will continue for much longer.

As for Richard, I think Richard's ego will be his undoing, and I think once he ends up in the boardroom with Lord Sugar he could well talk himself right into the firing line...but on the other hand he could pull a "field of ponies" just as easily, it'll be interesting to see for sure.

And personally, I'd be surprised if David DOESN'T make it to at least the FInal Five, he's been one of, if not THE most well rounded candidates so far. Been continuously impressed by him.

I agree with Richard and David, I think they'll make the interview stage and maybe the final too.
Sam we haven't seen much of yet so hard to tell, and Mergim is invisible. Of those in Connexus I think Scott and Gary have potential.

If I was a betting person I'd bet on David to win.

There are actually only four people who have won every task - the original poster mentioned Sam twice. It doesn't necessarily mean anything though - this time last year, Jemma was the only person who hadn't lost a task, but she was fired the very next week.

I also think David will get to the final five, but I think he might be this year's Solomon - credited on enthusiasm and a decent chap, but not quite mature enough.

Conversely, Elle has lost every task, but I think she has something to her. She seems to be quite bright to me. But who knows? Generally she has been quite quiet.

Out of the four unbeaten so far candidates, I think Richard and David will make the interviews. They both seem to be strong and have won as project manager rather than just having got lucky in being on the winning team.

Mergim seems to be pretty immature and Sam hasn't done much so far although next week's task looks like it should play to his strengths, so it will probably be Sam's make or break week.

The edit by Richard is so weird. David definitely is the only good candidate from the boys

I hope Sam isn't dead weight as a poster above suggested! I really like him. But unforunately I think if his team loses next week, with him being PM, he's toast.

I think Sam is alright; don't think he'll win as Lord Sugar never favours the young academics; at the moment, I think Richard has a good chance of winning; his performance has been strong so far and I think the negotiation gaff last week was due to others as it was rushed. Mergim will be gone as soon as he is on losing team I think as he will talk himself into trouble. He's most likely the weakest of the new formed team as well; it's not clear what he has contributed on any of the tasks. His negotiation last week was embarrassing and as was his first week boardroom waffle.

Think that Elle has a real shot at going 0-5 next week (just like Tom and Vincent in Series 7) and she not an inventor as far as I know.

So, her record will count against her (though you would be betting her team to win in two weeks time if she does go 0-5 and survives next week).

Yeah he doesn't look like winner material. I think he's performed well too, apart from perhaps last night.

Mergim is bizarre. He just seems like... an idiot . I think he needs to be PM before he's fired. He really reminds me of Zee S9.
