Sadly, I think it is increasingly looking like Katie.

Looks to me as if any confidence she might have had has been shot to pieces and it will be no surprise if she departs before one of usual dance-off suspects.

I am willing to believe that most of the problems are a result of her partner but if you can't comfortably outscore the likes of Carol and Jeremy then surely you don't deserve to get much further.

Her relative short price in the betting is presumably only a reflection of the assumed popularity of Anton. Taking this forum as a guide not even sure that is reliable.

I don't want to jinx her but I'd be surprised. I think Anton is much more popular than this forum would imply, and Katie's got a lot of the ballroom to go when she's in trouble.

I think it's all in the hands of the music-selecting pixies to decide who will go. One cowboy paso or Bond villain rumba equivalent could see off most of them.

I'd put Georgia as more likely than Katie, on the basis of Georgia's bland edit and the fact that Katie has a fairly good selection of dances left; that said, if they were in a shock dance off together, I wouldn't want to call who'd survive - it'd depend massively on the dances done.

Jamelia or Katie. Georgia will be in the bottom two soon, but will bounce back like Caroline

I would suggest Georgia. Nice girl but fairly bland and forgettable. She doesn't strike me as gaining the "little girl" vote (a la Emma Bunton) because Giovanni keeps trying to "sex it up".

People underestimate Anton's fanbase.
I think that it will be Georgia; One bad week and she could be easily out. She tends to fly under people's radar. Katie had a few bad weeks so far and still survived , however I feel like Georgia will be really in trouble if she takes a huge plunge on the leaderboard.

It seem to me to depend on how we define 'reasonable' Ainsley was reasonable, comparitively speaking. He had good rhythm and musicality, better than that of many contestants. His posture and technique weren't good but were better than say Nancy Del'lalio, Judy (bless her) and many others possibly including Chris Parker.

Firstly can we define our terms? Who are the reasonable dancers?

I would suggest they are Peter, Jay, Katie, Helen, Georgia, Kellie and Anita

That leaves Jeremy, Jamelia, Carol, Kirsty as the unreasonable ones

Anyway, Peter and Jay are safe as houses for now so not them. That leaves the four women.

Anita has Gleb and the Journey, so I think she's OK. Helen has Aliaz and all the Call the Midwife fans. Katie has Anton and I agree he's still very popular, also they've survived salsa so the worst of the Latin is probably over for them. And Kellie has Kevin + Eastenders fans. As well as affecting the voting, I think these factors probably sway the judges as much as the dance-off does, tbh (yes I'm still bitter about Pixie and Trent!)

So by a process of deduction - Georgia will be the first reasonable dancer to go.

It won't be Katie. The odds are now stacked in her favour that the party Latins are done & dusted (they could choose to forgo the samba). I would put money on Georgia too.

I hope its not Georgia. I'd rather it was Katie of Kirsty.

I'm not one for conspiracy theories but given the last two songs that were given to Georgia - a Tango to Ghostbusters, hello?? - plus the fact she was shown on ITT yesterday having problems with it, it could easily be her in B2 this week.

I agree with what people have been saying about Georgia, but if there's any truth to the conspiracy theories that they like to keep in people that are doing the tour, she may not be the first to go. She doesn't seem to have anything else going on work-wise so will probably do the tour, so may be saved in the DO over people like Katie or Kellie who probably won't be doing it. I hope I'm wrong, though, as Georgia is the one who I pretty much forget is in the show anyway. I suppose it also depends how far the producers want to try and go with the 'Year of the Anton' storyline.

I'd have to agree with that.

My first thought was Kellie but that's only because Georgia is so forgettable that i forgot she was competing

Surely Georgia, like Kellie, came with an established fan base from being in one of the big two soaps?

IMHO, if Georgia is in the dance off against:
Jamelia, Jeremy, Carol, Kirsty - she'll be saved

Katie - hard to tell with this one, it could go whatever way

Jay (haha, but I had to include him), Peter, Kellie, Anita or Helen, then it's curtains for her.

I've never watched Corrie, but from what I've read hers wasn't a major character or particularly popular, whereas Kellie is part of a big new family with major storylines (I think - I haven't watched Eastenders for years either)

Im sure she does but if you dont watch Coronation Street (like me) you wont have a clue who she is

ditto for Kellie too

I just find Georgia forgettable - and I dont mean that in a horrible way - she is just fading into the background for me

she needs a "wow" dance and sadly that hasnt happened yet

she certainly isnt the worst dancer left in the comp but she might just be the most forgettable - if that sounds right - sorry if it doesnt

I do understand your point, and I don't disagree, but surely anyone who comes from a popular soap or a popular(ish) pop group has an inbuilt advantage over someone like Katie Derham or Jamelia, for example? (Not that I like either of them.)

May I offer Jessie Wallace, Gillian Taylforth, Brian Capron, Phi Daniels, Tina O'Brien and Sid Owen who might disagree with you? All from the 'popular' soaps, all left by week 5. Admittedly none of them could dance particularly well, but their soap fanbases didn't keep them in any longer than their dance ability suggested. I would also guess that Jessie & Gillian in particular were far more well known than Georgia is.

the way I see it is that with Katie and Jamelia - sometimes they mess up, so far, Georgia hasn't - she steps onto the dance floor, does her dance, its all very nice and safe, she gets her scores and that's kinda it

Take Katie last week - she did a salsa, the same as Georgia but Katie's sticks in my mind because it got slated and because it was so terrible - I know that it shouldn't but it does, all I can remember about Georgia's was she was wearing a green (I think) dress

Voters, IMO, would have probably picked up the phone to vote to Katie because she was so terrible and got slated by the judges (same with Jeremy!)

I do think Georgia needs to do something soon, dance wise to make an impact on the viewers and make them sit up and think "ooh, she is good" which she hasnt done yet,

Im rambling - sorry!

Wouldn't two reasonable dancers need to be in the dance off for one of them to go? May happen on Saturday, may not happen for another few weeks,

I have always watched Coronation Street, and I can hardly recall which character she played, or whether she is even still in it, I find her quite bland.
