Yesterday, at least three times he said 'at least one of you will be fired'...did he say in the first three episodes that 'one of you will be fired' without the 'at least'? Because I felt that he was letting us know that there would be a double firing last night...and then there wasn't. A last minute change of heart to keep Selina in perhaps.

He's definitely said it multiple times, and in another episode he only said "one of you will be fired" from memory. Just can't pinpoint the episodes where he does and doesn't (have a quick look on iplayer), however I thought this was the week he was gonna do it.

I think the first 4 weeks is a bit earlier for a double firing. I can feel it coming though.

The producers must think we are sitting waiting for a double, but when its been so heavily promoted it won't be a shock or entertaining. They're as subtle as a sledgehammer.

Perhaps it depends on the flow of the sentence before, as sometimes it might just flow better and perhaps if he's given some warnings out the week before it'll be a reminder to them that just because you may not be the worst on paper you can still get the finger.

He should have fired Selina, in fact he should have fired everyone other than Ruth

The clasic comment about the Pet Show episode was - one of you will be going walkies!
Made the whole programme worthwhile.

Assuming they aim to reach show 11 with 5 candidates left, then 13 have to be fired over 10 shows. Therefore either a mass firing or several doubles have to take place. Whether LS says it or not, it makes no difference. He has to do it sooner or later.

Yes Selina should have gone - and/or Scott who was very weak as a PM.

But he had already taken a dislike to Ruth and I know he would fire her as soon as he got the chance.

Very unfair in my opinion.

Firing 3 would be odd as it would effectively give that PM power over who went. But three double firings is a bit repetitive

Its also a potentially unfair situation- as at some point there will have to be multple firings regardless of whether other people did much worse in earlier weeks. The real shocker would be to deem a sub team all useless, avoid the final boardroom and just fire 3-4.

The 'at least' has been used since at least the last series.

Double firings have been the norm for quite some time now, haven't they? So it's said in pretty much every episode now.

They fired all three last year, didn't they? Steven, Sarah and Ella, I think it was? I expect another triple firing this year.

That's how i remembered it, so i looked it up, it was week 4:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ap...(UK_series_ten)

This was the first time in the show's history that a treble firing occurred (outside of the interviews) and also the first instance that no candidates came back from the boardroom, which resulted in Lord Sugar informing the remaining candidates of his decision by telephone, much to their shock.
