Sharon never used to be that colour! It's ages since she came back from holiday anywhere hot, so why is she still flouting the sunburned look?

I appreciate that many girls like to affect a year round tan and spend time and money in tanning parlours to achieve it, but in Sharon's case I really think she's overdone it somewhat. It's gone well beyond a healthy glow, to the point that it just looks plain weird!

In common with many other actors in the show she's also had her teeth whitened. Nothing wrong with that at all, but when it comes to teeth there are many shades of white. Against Sharon's current dark skin the effect is rather startling, to the point of looking artificial. Only a small minority of Caucasian people are lucky enough to be born with really white teeth .. most of us have to put up with varying shades of off-white through ivory and cream, until we get old .. and then it's a lost cause!

An overdose of spray tan, it looks dirty and burnt looking.

Blame the make up crew and the hair stylists lol

I know that but Letitia gets vilified for her weight and people are so nasty about her neck which is why I said that statement. In my opinion, I think she looks great for her age but I always see nasty comments.

Letitia Dean is only 47 and it's time people on here stopped slagging people off on appearance if it doesn't affect you personally why make comments which affects others?

I didnt notice. Personally think Letitia Dean looks fine and dont see what is wrong with her appearance, yet it consistently seems to be slagged off on here.

The most ridiculous orange character was Rachel in Emmerdale. As if skint trackie wearing Rachel would spend money on a spray tan.
As for Letitia Dean / Sharon she looks a mess. I think the orange spray tan is down to her rather than Eastenders make up department. I've noticed it and think it looks awful. The orangeyness makes her eyes look small. Her hair looks ropey too.

She looked fine as **** in that episode last year where she met up with Marcus Christie in the park. Her wardrobe, makeup and hair have not done her any favours for this stint but she's an attractive woman when they get it right.

To be fair I think it's the characters' styling that is being criticised.

Unlike on Twitter/Facebook etc, I think most on here stray away from being too harsh and recognise that hair, make-up and wardrobe aren't doing the character of Sharon any favours.

I agree that weight jibes are out of order. There's been nasty comments concerning the appearance of Sam Womack, Natalie Cassidy, Linda Henry and Gillian Taylforth recently too.

Don't you get it? The comments are merely intended as gentle guidance, so that he/she who has been the subject of these heinous criticisms, may implement any necessary changes to attain the exemplary standards that many of us have come to expect!

It's not malicious and it's all meant in good heart but, more than anything, it's a way of winkling out the self righteous ones who feel sufficiently outraged to fling stuff back at us. Then we can all have a good laugh!

Fake tan, white teeth, I see plenty of women and men sporting that look into the autumn.

She looks fine, yes her characters wardrobe and make up could do with sorting out but that is up to them and isn't the worse thing in the world, maybe she feels comfortable wearing them on set.

Her hair is probably in the current state from over bleaching and looks like it being given a rest, I agree she be better off ditching the extensions but again my personal opinion doesn't matter.

Making nasty comments about her looks and weight is uncalled for and says more about the people making them then anything else.

Really? I thought she looked paler than usual when she was in the hospital.

If you think there going make any changes on the basis of a few comments on a forum, then I would suggested you might want to find another avenue too put forth your complaints.

I doubt defending people from being shamed about the way someone looks is something to laugh about, but what ever makes one happy.
