Just noticed that tonight's EastEnders is on an hour later than usual at 8:30pm

Watchdog is on from 7:30 until 8:30pm. Does this mean that something dramatic is happening tonight and that's why they have to put it on later than usual.

I was wondering the same, why are they moving it for Watchdog?

Tomorrow's episode (Friday 30th) is airing at an earlier time of 7:30 and is a 1 hour long Halloween episode.

It's been done to avoid a clash with an hour long Emmerdale. ITV are up to their old tricks

They have every right to air an hour of their number 2 soap.

It will clash with the first episode of Coronation Street tomorrow though

Rugby takes over ITV tomorrow evening from 7:30

They might - but it tends not to sit too well with their protestations that the BBC aggressively schedules its own programmes against those of ITV's
