I'm really enjoying YF

This year I'm really enjoying it.

It has some good comedy moments, but generally I've really enjoying hearing from the fired candidate, and I have really liked how much unseen footage, mainly from the house has been included. It provides a nice insight into a softer, more human side of all the candidates.

I will watch it because you need to, but I think it's less good than before if I'm honest.

It's okay.

Infinitely better when it had the brighter set and Dara hosting. But to be honest those are my only complaints now - the dark set and Jack Dee. Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike Jack Dee, but this doesn't seem like the job for him, he's known for being grumpy so when he has to act all friendly and warm here it almost comes across as forced.

I thought Romesh being a permanent panellist would be the end of the show for me because he generally irritates me and the fact he's the flavour of the month, appearing on literally everything, makes him grating, but he is very, very good on this surprisingly (VT's aside).

I don't really think they've shown too many "unseen" clips though, in comparison to previous years. In fact Ruth's juicing last night as well as her morning singing are the only ones that come to mind.

I, too, am enjoying it a lot more this year. I found Dara childishly over excited most of the time, and a camera hogger, so prefer Jack's calmer style. I also like the simple set and it's good to hear more from the candidates. The farewell presents seem rather low cost though!

I don't remember seeing many unseen footage clips at all last year. There was also Brett's 'generally as it stands'.

I don't mind Jack. I think his more serious tone actually suits it a bit better. As has been said Dara hogged the limelight and tried to turn it into a comedy panel show.

That's gotta be the understatement of the century, the facial expressions of the ex-candidates when they receive their farewell "gifts" is pretty much the same face my brother makes when he gets socks for Christmas.
