the hannibal thing is very different and interesting
It didnt get axed, it was funded by a lot of different people, just the american side pulled out, whilst they didnt provide the most money, the fact that it was on a major network in america was a big draw to other investors, when that fell though others dropped out

I wonder how they would of handled The Silence of the Lambs if they got the rights. Would of been great of Hannibal had a series 4 and 5.

I would assume that would have helped with a renewal, oddly it always felt it was on the wrong net work, CW would have suited it a lot more

Mads Mikkelsen all the cast was great on Hannibal series, the cliffhanger they left wraps everything up but leaves room for more.

its on NBC, had horrid ratings for that network, Grimm is the only "different" show that has done well there

I think there were problems with no one wanting to take it up with out getting the back eps, and A&E dont want it as they have damien, Showtime has Penny dreadful, HBO has game of thrones, so a new home was pretty hard to find

I doubt we will anytime soon.

There's 3 series of Hannibal 13 epsiodes in each series. It warps up everything but leaves room for more. Mads Mikkelsen great as Hannibal check the series out Marianne you will enjoy the show.

I try not to watch to many new shows I hate enjoying a show that's getting canned.

I actually saw some of the first series of Grimm but didn't like it, so stopped watching. I like Once Upon a Time & watch that online.

I'm looking forward to Damien. Never seen Penny Dreadful. Saw first series of Game of Thrones, thought it was good but for my tastes it was way too bloody. Had too much sex & nudity in it just for the sake of it, but the main thing I hated was the animal deaths. IE/ Slaughtering the horse with blood going everywhere & felt horrible when the pet wolf was killed because of that horrid young king in the first series.
