Harry Reid and Rakhee Thakrar are both continually putting in good performances.

The Phil and Ben scenes tonight were great. As was the Paul and Ben scene.

Shabnam Is so mixed up after the death of her child quite clearly her thought processes are being disturbed by it and I think the actress is playing it really well.

I think Eastenders is ok just now - admittedly the last couple of months has been a bit of a grind, but I think it's picking up again after the lull. Last week was great with the Cockers.

Yeah, kudos to him for actually trying to do something, but his continued desperation to appease daddy blinds him.

I enjoyed the episode. I liked the use of Mr Sandman near the end of the episode, which is also briefly used in the Halloween films. I sense something bloody is going to go down tomorrow. Didn't Kathy say that it the mask she was holding was for Bobby? I think he's going to stab Gavin ala Michael Myers. Or am i way overthinking it

It's all Philth's fault for been so unaccepting of Ben and making him feel its not OK to be who he is and that he needs to conform more to what Philth expects him to be.

Although, whilst is in no way makes it right, it's clear to me that Phil also has unresolved daddy issues: Phil opening up to Ian before grassing Ben up for his bit in the Lucy case, about how he never wanted to treat his son the way his father did him. But, of course, he ended up doing it anyway [if not worse].


Tbh, throwing Ben back in the closest has ever really rang true to me. I swear Phil [putting aside his obvious anger / trauma from his Gavin ordeal] actually came to mildly accept Ben when he came out the first time. Not sure if anyone can back me up on that

I don't think that Cora knows Gavin. She said 'got a lighter mate?' in a way to suggest she was asking a random person. Then she saw that Gavin was looking a bit sinister and she got bad vibes so she just awkwardly walked away.

I'm actually enjoying the show I don't get the hate from people.

There has been a few shaky weeks and I didn't like the way they treated the Ronnie/Charlie story but the summer has been great.

I loved the Lucy storyline and the twists and turns we have had like Max trial Jane and Phil paying the jury Kathy returning and Gavin as a villain.

I can't wait for tomorrow night.
