Sorry all Ben Mitchell fans but the guy who plays him overacts.

I can't stand the way he always shouts and screams and pulls those ridiculous faces while doing so.

IMO he can't act for toffee!!

I love him and think he's an asset to the show.

He been great, really grown as Ben and had the best scenes out of all of this.

I thought I was the only one I didn't mind him before but recently he starting to annoy me with all the shouting and screaming.

He's good, I like Harry Reid alot and think he is now Ben Mitchell and made the character his own. I don't think Harry is as good as Jamie Borthwick however who continues to be wasted on scraps

I find his acting hit and miss, with a lot more misses. Sometimes he nails it extremely well though, like when he shouted at Bobby the other day I forgot he was acting but I thought he was dreadful tonight.

I much prefer Johnny Labey as an actor.

I agree. The episode last week where he was trying to act drunk was embarrassing. I cringed. He should have asked Laurie Brett for advice. She did some really excellent drunk acting in Waterloo Road.

Yes but would you want to watch yourself carry on and make a tit of yourself in an over exaggerated manner? Sometimes things have to be altered on tv compared to real life.

I agree OP I wish he would tone it down slightly. I also agree the actor is vastly overrated. I've never found him impressive or particularly good, but that's true of about ninety percent of soap actors.

I must admit that today while watching I thought 'oh calm down'. Did seem a little ott and it's just the same thing over again, brooding or shouting at people in the same tone with the same expressions.

I think he is an excellent actor but calm down on the shouting..why was he shouting at the top of his voice tonight to Paul by the garage..there was no need....but a good actor and I thought tonight what a good job it's him now and not the awful actor who played him , Joshua Pascoe...now he was bad....

I think Harry's mostly very good, with the odd little wobble.

Harry hss been great the last few weeks.

I think he could tone it down a bit Maybe he is trying to hard to win the Best Soap Actor award

I think he has been great and about the only one who has shone in this Kathy storyline, he hasn't quite nailed his shouting scenes but I'm sure he will.
